You can wait till the series is over. Also, as a warning/callout: don't start begging me to play with you or showcase your robots. I've seen you hassling others on multiple videos/websites and I won't tolerate you doing it to me. Have some respect/manners. In other news: 3pm BST (British Summer Time) TOMORROW (Monday the 30th of March) I will make a post here that side events are open as well as details about them. I've seen some stuff on discord about OW5 being invite only for the main competition and then side events being open for everyone. Will a new blood be one of those side events? If so, that's one I'd rly love to have a go at entering, since I failed to get a bot completed in time for fresh metal.
Short answer: yes, main comp will be invitiational. I do plan on making side events open for others but details on what events and such will be revealed closer to the time. Still gotta finish this tournament after all

As far as the arena, it'd be nicer if it wasnt stretched and such low res. TheOrcCorp might be able to give your the resolution of the OW arena just as a reference given its high quality

It's almost like basing your tournament around patches that aren't even out yet, in a game that's still in alpha/beta testing isn't a good idea
It may not be a good idea, but it's my best option.
You could like, wait until it's in full release before you start hosting tournaments?
You could use the version of the game that was out when you were accepting entries, rather than banking on future versions maintaining compatibility when the game is still in development and patches are clearly gonna break stuff from previous versions.
Literally anybody who's played an in-development version of a game before could tell you that the chances of stuff from one development version still being compatible down the line are basically nil. You should have seen this coming.
He has a point admittedly. I get that you're excited for RR2 but hosting a tournament so early on into development was a bit silly. Arena looked cool though.

Welp, at least Ezitinas put up a good fight. So that’s the end of my OW4 run, pretty happy that I at least had a decent bot that did somewhat well, I’ll probably bring Ezitinas back for next series and maybe enter it into the World Championship.
Sorry about the Ezitinas mishap but I think Ezitinas design wise is interesting. Hope you look into more and hope to see it more in the future!
