No, but is nice to have the view of the roboteers :) I usually switch to that. You don't actually need to change that, I can change it myself if I want.

The mod it's very cool! I like the arenas and the fact that they have music, my favourites are the series 1 arenas and the Northen tour.

As far as components, I really like the mega adaptor! I can just put the batteries and other stuff that normally you can only put inside the chassis anywhere else, so you can see them when you're playing. Polycarb robots get added coolness with this!
The other component that I really like is the bulkhead, when I saw that I had to make a flipper with that!


I don't understand why the weapons are made by a tooth with the visible blade and the other tooth with the invisible blade. Couldn't you have made two visible halves or only one component with the collision being a bar? Because this happens:

The visible part gets knocked off but the bot still has the invisible part, or the bot gets unbalanced when the invisible part comes off, but the disc still looks intact.
Same for the flippers.
 
As some other sayed, hypno disc does too much damage, and if you let the disc go to full speed and turn quikly, the disc gets unstable and the robot flips:


Some of the cameras in the arenas can be a bit too close to see where you are going, best example is the scrapyard arena's default camera. And the default camera in the series 7 arena should be the pod! :rage

Other than this problems, the feel of robot wars is there and the amount of robots there is incredible!

I only registered for about a month, but I've been lurking for many years, and I saw the project from the begining, and the increase in quality as the project moved on. Some of these replicas are so acurate, they looked like photos of the real things!
Since this has realistic robots, I will definately try making a replica of my feather that I'm working on currently.

When you export the template, the green edges aren't the place where the edge lines are? I would use a program that let you make different layers, so you scale the template, make it transparent and put edge decals on where the green lines are.

I try to make IRL bots somewhat efficent, but thinking how a real bot would be. For example if I want to make a spinner and I use a motor outside of the chassis, I have to add multiple supports, and not just the extender necessary to attach the motor, because a real robot would break immediately, or the weapon motor is so crap it only needs a thin extender to survive it's own power.

The power of the piston and the fire rate are very good, but it's pretty fragile, against bar spinners it's useless.
It can self right, but it does that by firing the weapon and flying around until it's level.
