Really its going to be hard for them to do it wrong, All we need is ra2 with less glitchy physics and a build system that works better.
If they have things like deformable meshes and such it would be awesome, really everything they need come prepackaged in newer game engines or as addons, the days of shoehorning havok into an engine are long over.

Absolutely this, I'd recommend playing it and seeing for yourself TDS.
Yes, balanced or not, I found it a spattering of seemingly random parts that could be consolidated and tons of duplicates.

Over time people making these mods haven't really put any effort towards how they appear in game. which was the main focus when I did ubermod (increasing component count and consolidating components into as few menu options as possible)
The descriptions have been full of nonsense forever, it's pretty much a crap shoot.

if you look at its previous fights it was badly unbalanced from dbm running a S7 plow against it.

got the cnc and probe working finally, we have entered full production mode First test run was the most complex part: the sprocket cams, came out okay, actually works, but finish is bad, and some misc mistakes caused by feed rate and backlash being set a little too high Just started wheelpods

In its current form I have it clocked in at 1.2something pounds, I'll probably take an inch or two off to add steel caps or increase the size of the holes to keep it a little under half of the bots weight

Dude your chassis is gonna do all the spinning here.

Anyways, design still continues on it, I'm going to wait for the last minute to register for moto, depending on how the cnc's doing this week. its even dumber viewed from the size (design subject to change) the whole body will be machined out of solid 1" 6061 plate, i'll then make an angled fixture and machine the angle on the bottom, the "lid" will actually be the base. The trick to this, is that the blade is going to be a fancy composite which should absorb a LOT of the impacts, the point isn't to hit things so hard that both bots explode, it is that I have a gigantic, hard hitting keep away stick that I can angle exactly where it needs to be for my opponent.

The big bar spinner beetles in the UK just have a tendency to rip themselves apart. Or be ripped apart. Or break down.
They don't have blind patriotism to hold them together? :)

Most money grabs these days are android/iphone based, thus the tremendous number of questions based around what platforms you own/want/ect.
I'll be surprised if this isn't a mobile device game imported to other platforms.

I guess we'll find out! The advantage of having a big weapon is your tipspeed is much higher for a given rpm, so I can gear lower to improve spinup time and not really lose much/any net energy.
The design has the ability to run a smaller blade, I just want to try an idea with this one.

So it looks like i'm making a beetle as it should be quick and easy, and registering it gives me an extra pit pass :P Spoiler: it's basically a bar spinner, but throwing all of the norms of bar spinner out of the window and stomping on them, also being way too big in typical TDS fashon Yeah that "might" be the blade in scale with the weapon motor and kit bots drive motors

Also, keep in mind that this game is currently set to be released in 2016 and if they strain themselves too thin, the game will have a lot taken out on the cutting room floor.
They are likely planning on releasing near the end of the next season of BB

Ugh, .8mm is already a pain in the ass, I'd hate to see how many discs had to die to make Snappy happen.
Um, I cut through 5/8" solid (15.8mm) with one disc, you just got to get the right rpm and go nice and slow

I'll have to give it a shot, I kind of wanted ruins front end to be cool and angular since there's just a ton of extra room in front of the main bulkhead but didnt want to make tons of weird angle brackets

What are the angled side plates made of?
Looks like HDPE to me
me too but every time i've tried to bend hdpe to make an angle like his front end memory takes over and it eventually bends itself back.
