the hs was a complete havok bomb, so i just ended up making the drive static and it's good now. both are invertable still. preference? i'm trying to figure out how to make a good hw hammer. evidently this is not how you do it hw true popup. 10 razors, 2 batts, 4 hpz, 27 casters. wedges and armor both work really well. idk how i managed to get that spike strip on there, but i'm happy about it

updated the juggler now it does pretty well against anything that's not a hs I don't really understand why you need a wedge for your first MW HS?
it was more of a test than anything

figured out what to do with it: make a CW pretty bouncy, but otherwise works really well. will probably replace brain scrubber are MW wedged HSs a thing? rebuild of alien king. uses a few of those heavy 140cm extenders. 40 irons tried a 3wd SnS. first one is mounted on a servo and spins insanely fast, but havok bombs outside of the test garage. used ra2cf on the 2nd one to put a tribar on a BA for a static setup so it doesn't havok, but it's kinda slow, especially compared to the other one tried making some sort om MW juggler/de-wheeler. originally meant to have 4 RADs, but i only had 50kg left after the first two so i just put some static irons on. not very good overall 3 different drive systems on the same HS. the one with HPZ drive uses a different extender setup so i could get the weight. all are invertable

round 4 posted. since there were only a few entrants left i put the seeding and main event in the same video the fact that more than half of the remaining bots beat my heavyweight makes me rethink my life choices
also probably should have said this in the video, but since rustybucket got a 1-up, both it and misfortune each have 1 life left now. everyone else is dead

i changed all the "engage"s to "evade"s in the wimpomni py file and that didn't seem to do anything. is there a specific line/lines i need to copy and paste over? sorry if these are stupid questions btw

was cleaning out my robot designs folder experimental bot generic hs bw poker with no drive. idk why i made this attempts at making a downward lw fs. took all this to arrive at rock grinder this one was just called "idk what to do with this". pretty sure i don't have the weight to do anything with it though. 4 plows is overkill on a mw anyway lw. i think it was supposed to be for some stock realistic thing, but i can't recall anything of like like. the cb is stacked in the nifty anyway though attempt at making a lw dual fs some mw hybrid thing. ended up being boulder crusher really old poker attempt. idk what i was thinking with the drive original build of jaws of death. this setup sucked, so i angled the weapons the other way and suddenly it was good idk what i was going for with this one original build of plaster saw. not only does it have next to no reach, but it also bounces around like a rabbit on crack tried to build a clamp bot. weapons start closed, then open when fired. doesn't work too well in stock mw this one was called "unfinished mw poker". looking at it now, there's too much fundamentally wrong with it to bother finishing yet another hs here are some new bots clone of kurt's bot, but with shinies and bear claws. even more of a havok bomb than his new version of boulder crusher. wedge isn't very good, but otherwise the robot works very well. i'm really happy i was able to get that spike strip on top made a side hammer thing. untested. reminds me of a bird updated. made the wedges wider by having the first extender sideways. idk if that hurts the wedges, but they seem to do well enough also updated. went with the weapon layout of the original and it works so much better now

Managed to edit together a new AI code. No idea if this has been done before, but I figured it'd be useful.

This AI, as you can probably tell by its name, is a small variation on the standard Omni py file. Instead of switching to the Shove tactic when its weapons runs out, it instead switches to Evade (which is within Tactics_2.py, which I've included in the rar for ease of access). So instead of suiciding onto the opponent's remaining weapons, it runs away.
do you know if there's a way to get this ai to evade without losing any components first?

Main round of round 2 is up. match at 2:58 recorded really slowly, so i sped it up to try and fix it. audio sounds weird, but the match itself is a lot more watchable contender for top 10 most brutal anime deaths at 13:13
and even in death permabanning, ava refuses to give up. it's like his bot knows this is his last tournament or something

thanks guys might as well post bots here while i'm waiting for tournament vids to upload there has to be a way to be able to swap the angled extenders to 20cms on abomination and then swap the razors to claws.
i'll do ya one better had to remove one of the extenders that held the weapon motor though, so now it's closer to the chassis anyway tried improving this bot a bit. turns out the wedges suck. tried a static drive setup instead. wedges are okay, but the hammers fall off in no time flat tried a new idea for public threat. wasn't sure what i was going for until i was already most of the way done

That's twice now that my robot has refused to move at the start of a match, what's going on? i'm guessing that because the drive motors are snapper loaded, they're being havoky and not turning the robot. speaking from experience, snapper loaded drive motors do that sometimes

round 2 seeding is up between using a new video editor and irl stuff, things might take a while to get posted from now on. i guess i should have said this earlier but if there is a tie in the seeding times, then the tiebreaker is simply a rng. if you tied in the seeding but got seeded lower, then i'm sorry but luck just wasn't on your side

Uhh, I didn't see my bot at all in the eliminators of Round 1. Editing mishap? I guess it doesn't matter much since I lost. I probably shouldn't have entered Kaiser if I knew everyone and their dog were gonna enter popups. ugh i'm sorry your match was recorded, i just left it out during editing because i'm dumb here's the match:
