Just asking will there be robots that competed in Battlebots but went on Robot Wars a la la Frenzy and Mauler?
Unknown ATM.

Wow. This is looking really promising. Now at LEAST give us a video or two.
Problem. Only some of the models are created...

Looks very cool, is there going to be other arenas aswell?

And what is the robot design limited to?
Currently, no idea about arenas. I've decided on the original RW arena as main arena; other arenas depends on how quickly I get the core stuff running.
Also no idea currently about robot design limitations, but it may not be as wide as RA2.

Looking good if this actually gets released and doesn't sink into development heck.
Will it have any modding capabilities? (I.e. can you go into the game's files and edit it? Is it open source?)
In terms of modding capabilities, I'm pretty sure that the way that the game will be created will allow reskins and the likes. It will be open source.

Could Mortis and Cassius II be in there?  ^^
Mortis is also a possibility, as is Cassius II. The robot list on this thread is actually just a sample, or indeed a list of possibilities; none of them are certain to appear. The House Robots list is definite though.

In the future list when updated would it be likely to see Stinger and maybe Splinter, if you don't mind me asking.
Definitely Stinger; Splinter is a possibility. He completely missed those two out when He was thinking up robots to put in the game. Consider them included now.

Will this be standalone or will you need that Roblox game to play it?
Its stand-alone! But we do hold tournaments on Roblox...

What do Shove and Public Nuisance look like?

and can we put in Beast of Bodmin and Steg-o-Saw-Us? Love those two bots.

edit: Oh hey, Qwerty's on the wiki. Lol.

edit 2: What's your roblox account? I'll try to join the next wars if I can figure it out  ;)
comandomike is my Roblox name. Public Nuisance  is a robot made on roblox by Jon Himself! If im lucky i will get mine onto the game called Elevation. Public Nuisance is a red & yellow wedge with a front hinged flipper on the front & a spinning drum on the back.

This looks awesome.

Do we get to build robots in this? Or use bots from the actual RW?
He was considering a robot workshop but the extent of the building capabilities would probably be limited to that of the original Robot Wars games, such as AoD and ED. Of course, there will be standard RW robots.

Pretty cool, liking how tornado looks.

How are you going to calculate damage btw?
Not sure if you means damage during the match or during the judge's decision. If you mean during the judge's decision, it might depend on an overall throughout-battle percentage.

Hello! This a Standalone game in progress being made by a very good friend of mine by the name of Jon. It will be based on the robotwars series and it wont be released until Mid 2013. Look at this page for more information; http://channeltst.wikia.com/wiki/Robot_Wars:_Extreme_Annihilation I will post updates of the game exclusively for GTM!
We have had a few problems & thoughts. Read below for what is should of been;
The reason why we will not have MOST of these robots is Copyright. Simplez.
To use the majority of these robots & the official arena we will have to have permission from the current owner of the RobotWars trademark. Without that RWEA is over. But its not all bad...
The reason i say MOST is because some are still fighting today! So when we get an opportunity & in the future we will ask the owner of Roaming Robots for permission to use the Trademark & Robots that have competed in RR from now to some selected ones features on the RR websites Robot page. When the game is released; for future versions we will ask permission to use the for the Robots Live Trademark. Then we could go to america! :o Anyway, the option for it to have anything to do with Robot Wars is over for now...
But look on the brightside. We will get to use Eruption!  :gawe:
