C'mon Jack, you know me better than that. I may have some setbacks, but I don't give up. First video is up.

Tutorials and Tips / Re: AI-ing (.py files, coding, nose-orienting R+D, and help)« on: November 04, 2011, 11:50:10 PM »
been trying. Servo never moves at all. Can you guys double check me, please? I've got the servo wired to an analog named Servo, and the smartzone is labeled as servozone. Here's the bindings, values aren't exact yet, i'm just currently trying to get it to work at all....
Code: [Select] list.append(("HoverVore","InMyArms2",'nose':math.pi*2,'servodelta':0.15,'servospeed':100,'servonose':1,'servoopenangle':10,'servocloseangle':0.5,'range':99,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':100,'throttle':130,'turn':60,'turnspeed':5,'weapons':(2,)}))

Nice tutorial on my favorite bot type, S_M. Although I already knew how to build them, I did learn something I didn't know from your video. When you did the chassis paintjob, I've always just hit "paint entire chassis". Wasn't aware you could click a 'face' like you did. Never even occured to me. lol

Just an update and apology. Vids are coming, I promise. Once we get this spookhouse done and over with (3 more nights) I should be having plenty of time...

Discussion / Re: Hypothetical regarding tournaments« on: October 25, 2011, 03:44:28 AM »
I think I'd be at least half tempted to let the byebot advance if it won a match, just for the humor aspect of it alone, but wouldn't anyway. It might be funny if it won one match, but if it continued to win, that'd be a pretty lame outcome.

Discussion / Hypothetical regarding tournaments« on: October 24, 2011, 02:26:15 PM »
I know this is very unlikely to happen, But if by some bizarre fluke a bye bot were to win a match, would it advance? And if it does, and continues to get fluke after fluke, eventually winning the tournament, Do we declare it the champ or what? I had a really bizarre dream last night...lol

Brackets uploaded. Jack, the randomizer was kind and you got your wish. Discuss away, and I'll try and film a match or possibly 2 when I get home from work tonight. As always, this is not a gaurantee.
I've just realised how stupid entering a bot which goes for the underside of hoverbots was. Regardless, I like it. 109

Allright one and all, Tonight I work until around 3 am. When I get home, I'm going to be finishing up what needs to be finished to get this ready and splash will be posted soon after, barring unforseen circumstances of course. So this is your rock bottom last opportunity to squeek in.

Officially, entry is now closed. But, next few days are hectic with running a spookhouse and playin some shows, so if you send a bot before I post the splash, i'll let you squeek in. Make it quick though

Couple of days left for you stragglers, but to be honest, I'm going to be extremely busy over the next couple of weeks, so you'll probably have at least a few days of leeway, 114

dragonsteincole's entry accepted.
The reason I haven't entered is because I just can't think of anything! Think this might be a big part of the problem. A lot of the normal thinking process gets thrown out the window when everythings gonna be floating around. All bots are moving at the same speed, wedges are pointless (unless i'm missing something), flippers as well, Gutrippers and rammers will probably be non-existant. That being said, the entries so far are pretty cool, looking forward to the rest of em. 115

Unfortunately, I can't allow that bot due to the following issues, No Hovercraft, Thrusters have been dissallowed, and must have at least an ant battery.
That being said, I got a chuckle out of the bot. 119
