I'm not sure if this should go here, but I guess it should.

I don't really know why, but I've been practicing 3-string sweep picking lately. I can't seem to perform it cleanly no matter how much I focus nor how slowly I begin each "session".
A few minutes ago I noticed my muting technique is correct for the higher strings, and instead, the noise's coming from the lower strings scratching against my hand (the palm muting side), which is also why I only seem to hear that over around 150bpm... What am I supposed to do here? (aside from giving up, of course).
When you go faster things get sloppy (as always with guitar playing) build up slowly, and try a metronome
start a downstroke on every "click" , doing this constantly will improve your technique and get rid of sloppyness.
You don't really need to dampen the low strings because they don't ring out (on mine anyway).

What for? Are you going to enter Total Wipeout?
Hell no!

Maybe you shouldn't build an obstacle course in your bedroom

If you want to build that huge thing, I'd suggest you move the building outside where you have plenty of room.

The salmon ladder I would need two pairs of those rungs
and the Unstable bridge I could attach the chains to my ceiling with the chains shorter.
You will probably regret doing that, most ceilings aren't designed to take weight, something heavy pulling down on it could bring the whole ceiling down.Totally depends what it's made out of.

So, i just discovered this series..
It's rather odd too, because i've always wanted to watch i but never got around to doing it. Just bought all seasons one thru five on amazon. :D
And this is for the original series from 1959 - 1964. (i don't know if the newer reboots were any good, but i'm gonna assume they aren't as great or had as much cultural impact as the original)
Anyways, so discuss the series.
Oh, and this is my favourite episode currently:

My favourite episode was the one with the doll. Will try and find a video

Why does my tapping sound so bad through any amplifier?
Is their a technique that i'm just not doing properly?
I think so. If your tapping motion is correct you probably need to improve muting - my left hand fingers naturally mute the higher strings due to the way I fret notes, the problem for me is muting the lower strings with the right hand. I pretty much try to palm mute in an opposite right wrist angle for this :P Same with sweep picking, which I don't feel motivated to develop anymore for some reason...

I wasn't pressing hard enough.

Since TF2 is letting people use Halloween items for no apparent reason, I've been trying to get all 9 masks to craft the Saxton Hale mask.

So far, I have 5.
I need 4 more.
And people sell them for a Scrap.
I have more then 4 Scraps in my inventory.

GUH... I'M SO CLOSE TO A SAXTON MASK, BUT PEOPLE ARE TOO OCCUPIED WITH TRYING TO GET BUDS/BILLS HATS DX
I have a saxton mask, people found them so crap at one point I got given about 3, i've traded two though.
Also certain halloween items are all year long.

Foo Fighters could be considered overrated, not by me though.
But White Limo definitely is, Qotsa did that style so much better than them.

The only real problem I'm having at the moment is these Servers which use Quake sound effects- namely those with those freaking annoying giggles when you get Sniped. Only happens once in a while, but it frustrates me so much.
I found that when you get angry you play much worse, and those sounds really don't help.

I disagree with the balanced weapon thing. I think they all are balanced someway. Everything got their own bad and good sides
Let's take the Backburner.
At one stage it was balanced.
It had the crits from behind and extra damage for the cost of no air blast.
Then Valve were like, "DUUHUDSUHSDU", and they added an airblast to it, making it the obvious alternative to most other Pyro weapons.
I can kill someone from behind almost instantly, or I can airblast him off a cliff.

Heck the only decent one there's the Ubersaw, but even the best Medic in the world plays it safe.
Valve thought giving a support class a "useful" melee weapon was a good idea.

it's overpowered.
>>Equalizer
>>Overpowered

I LOL'd

All melee weapons in the game have janky ranges.
That's why Saxton Hale tends to kill people that are like 5 inches away from him.
The one main thing I hate in Tf2 is the giant amount of imbalanced weapons (it's like they just close their eyes and hit the numpad to create the values), and the fact they constantly churn out more.
