Poll still will be open for a bit, but looks to me like it's going to be Piston-oriented unless something dramatic happens.
That said, to give you guys a brief idea...you will be building 3 bots that incorporate pistons into its weapon system, 1 lw 1 mw & 1 hw.
the restrictions for pistons will be
-no sns
-no flyers
-no 3.14ston-effect causing bots
start thinking.....i will give you an update about signups after the weekend...

- In both cases, smaller chassis are needed
- Disc fully exposed horizontally = BAD
- Stock is not like DSL.....more pinks = more bad, stick to 1 nifty in LWs as standard, 1 supervolt in MW, 2 supervolt in HW.....
- Stacking is your friend

Not bad at all for a start!!
The AW could definitely benefit from a smaller chassis. With a smaller chassis, you could add another weapon if you intend to retain the casters.
The BW is a different design from the standard. I can't help but to think the bot would be much better with both weapons on the front of e bot. Chassis could be smaller on this one as well. Also, pole spikes are pretty sucky.
The LW is a nice attempt at a suitable FS. Could use some more protection or a wedge with that setup. Weight can be gained by choosing shines for wheels and a smaller, form fitting chassis.

Well, sidefu*ker is interesting and unique for sure, but I doubt that is really an effective bot for top level combat.
On the other hand, I LOVE the idea of ITS A TRAP! And I have been experimenting with a similar sort of design recently, although to no avail.
