Beat Hazard is awesome. Although when I started I couldn't play more than about 20 minutes at a time because it made my eyes hurt.

It’s common knowledge that the greater and more vital an empire is, the grander and more stylish their haircuts. The ceasars…

What the hell? Clippy? Where did you come from? What is this, 1995?

Oh… god… dammit.

No, listen man: I’ve got work to do here, I’ve got a headache that would wound a god and you’re breaking my flow. Can you just, I don’t know, **** off for a while?

Ahh, fine. Yes, I suppose I would.

...what?

Hey, man, I’m sorry to hear th–

OK! Jesus. I get it. You can stay; just keep out of my way, alright?

You uppity little bastard. I swear to Christ if you don’t knock it off I’ll goddamn delete you.

You wouldn’t.

OK! You can… just do whatever, man. I’ve got to get back to work here. Just try not to be too intrusive. Where was I? Oh, right…

The Caesars ruled most of the known Earth in their day, and the rigid, firm lines of iron discipline in the Caesar Cut reflects this trend-

GODDAMMIT THAT IS IT.

Oh no, Clippy. I’m not going to take you out. You’re totally right. I can’t touch you. But what’s this? What are these subroutines here? C:/Windows/Programs/MS_word/Clippy/Family?

Your daughter, little Clippette, your boy, Clippy, Jr., even your wife Wendy is here. Funny, I’ve never seen them around. Must not be vital to the program, eh?

What was that? I’m sorry, I was away for a second. Doing some cleanup.

I just deleted your wife. Oh, and what’s that? Clippy, Jr.’s, file is corrupted? Little Clippette’s too? Oh, that’s just terrible. Clippy, it… it looks like you’ve got two mentally handicapped kids to take care of now.

I did it, Clippy. I retarded your kids. Are you strong enough for that, Clippy? Are you strong enough to raise two motherless special needs children? Are you strong enough to take care of them, every moment of every day for the rest of their lives? Are you strong enough to do it alone? Are you strong enough to look into their faces and not see the love you lost?

Ouch. Rookie move, Clippy. Everybody knows you’re supposed to go through the mouth for a sure kill. Do I have to finish this for you?

N’gggyleth kkkul N’kkul N’gggyleth Wattqawa Cthulhu! Ry’leth Avk Rttleh Cthulhu!

CTHULHU TKKE TKKE N’GGGYLETH CTHULU CLIPPY!

Right. So. Where was I again?

My suggestion, build one from individually ordered parts. Contrary to how it seems, it's not hard. If you think about it, the parts come from all over the world and they have to make sure that anyone, anywhere can put them together. Each part will only fit in one place, one way.

Slightly more on topic, though, Acer's not too bad, Gateway isn't good, HP's alright, Dell's a no-no, and Alienware's like burning money.

Yeah, I noticed that when I looked at your showcase. Nice dodge of the rule of 7.

Even like that you should be able to get 4 razors on each DDT.

(Unless you already have. If so, then ignore this)

If anyone wants to know, I just picked up a bunch of laptops my uncle's business was going to get rid of. There's a IBM Thinkpad 365XD, 600e, and I Series, and one Dell CPX. The 600e is completely dead, and I may just scrounge parts form it, but the 365XD works, I just need an OS, the I series boots fine into Windows 98SE, and the Dell CPx is stuck in a boot loop after the WinXP logon crashes. I've got work to do.

I suppose depending on what it goes against, it could do really, really well. But like other people said, the lack of armor is concerning.

Chatterbox / Re: How did YOU come up with your name?

The really interesting thing is that I frankly have no idea where my username came from. It originated back in my earlier days (probably 10-11 years old), when Runescape was the popular thing to do at school. Nothing I could think of for a username would work without tacking numbers on the end, I somehow came up with Inplabth and it stuck. Nothing I have ever signed up for has has the username Inplabth used.

I just need my vastly improved wedge to hold up against the other bots. Then I'll do alright.

Hm. I'll see what I can do. My current setup actually doesn't have the bottom armor, but uses a metal hinge wedge instead. But I'll see what I can do with the halfsheet, but they always seem to have weird collision boxes.

~5% Other European Countries

Yeah. I've been working on whittling down weight and reworking the drive but I just can't get anything to work... Not to mention that the wedge has next to no weight on it.

EDIT:

I just had a massive revelation. This new version solves the stability issues, had better armor, adds armor on the bottom, yet retains the drive power and speed of the previous version. It slightly sacrifices on weapons, but that's a small price to pay for the improvements. Not to mention the plow on the front works better that I imagined and can keep up with metal hinge wedges about 1/2 of the time.

3mm Al armor
TWM3 drive
4x light DS teeth
40x40 DSL bar armor
3x ants

No, the difficulty isn't hard, it's summoning up the will to play through two discs worth of PS2 game that is hard. I got to about 54% and couldn't keep up my will to keep playing.
