yea. so i got robot arena 2 back a few weeks ago. it works fine. but Dummy's GMF Compiler will not re-compile a already decompiled GMF file. "Run Time Error '52' Bad File Name or Number" it says. it decompiles fine but recompiling is the problem. ive also tried the other GMF compiler in the DL section. appologies if in the wrong section.
EDIT: after reading click/fire beetle's tut it said that i need the RA2 CD, OR, download another version of the GMF compiler, in wich the link was down. so i change my question. anyone know of or can provide a link to it?

i believe the beetlebros tutorial is the only one out there. i would be glad to help and create a shield with those dimmensions however i currently do not robot arena and DSL installed into my computer. maybe try to re-read the tutorial try your best. like the tutorial says: graph paper helps alot =).
also the no reply thing:the site was recenntly down for aobut a week or two, and not many people know that its backup with a different URL, altho the same main site. from what I hear from fellow DSL players they thought it was down for good. but proved them wrong xD.

Any .cfz files go into the root RA2 directory, and any folders with part names or .txt files go into the components directory. lol i guess my time away from ra2 effects me sooo much. im buyin a new monitor THIS WEEKEND :/ To Flexis: you shouldnt have any problems from there =)

For the original RA2, it's EMERGENCY. For DSL, it's WIIDELOAD. agreed

Only one problem that I see. You can only make things for Robot Arena 2 with 3DSMax 4.2 to 5.1 if I remember right. yah i think ur right about that. however try it anyway. i sure dont know how, just coding coordinates for basic arenas. well not even that but anyway i get the general idea lol. i have no idea about how to make arenas/componants with 3ds max so dont ask me

there is, but u need EXTREME knowledge in coding the game. and even with lots of knowledge of coding, it will probably take months.
