I'm sorry, I don't like them.
Thats fine but can I ask why? Feel free to give brutal critiques. I will say that they are rather boring but I am relearning the game. I havn't quite found the balance of new school and old school DSL.

Yea im noticing the change in style. I was kinda hoping that DSL stayed closer to more realistic bots but im not surprised. I think there is a happy middle ground though. Personally as long as you can explain how it would work in real life its close enough to IRL for me.
I have a feeling im going to be more on the modding side though because I am a game modeling student now. Im working on a degree in game design right now.

The RX7 is a early N/A third gen. 1988. The reason for the ford 2.3 is because it makes more power than the N/A 13b, much more low end torque and parts are waaay cheaper and easy to fine. Keep in mind that this car is going to be out at drift events about every other week so we need parts and fast. Once that motor goes though we might be switching to a N/A 1JZ. A new diff is going in soon and we have the rear steering assist delete kit. We just found a great deal on a new turbo and manifold to. We just ordered some powered by max coilovers and should be here in a week. We have little over a month to get everything ready for the first event.
The MR2 it step up for really hard autocross so that thing is all suspension work right now. The coilover set up is a grey market cusco set up with deleted sway bars. Really need to get some wide rims and tires though and a good fender pull.
Im also looking to pick up ether a 80's cressida or a celica supra and building a daily shakotan/bosozoku style car. Tall exhaust pipes and all. ^_^

Not intentionally. My first weapon set up used 40x 40 DSL bars but they didn't register damage. I wanted to keep the low ground clearance and the egg beaters were the only thing that really worked properly.

This is my second MR2. Rear engine cars FTW. My old white one was in a hit and run. Running cusco coilovers and I have another inch and half of drop left if I want it but I already scrap on my drive way as it is. Current ground clearance 1.8 inches. I blew the water pump a few months ago and im waiting on some parts. We are preping it for a 3vz-fe motor swap out of the lexus es300. First we need to finish my brothers RX7 drift build that is running with a ford 2.3 turbo motor.

I don't know if anyone still remembers me. I think its been almost 2 years since I have been gone. I was wondering if the RA community was still around. I have been busy since I have gone and a lot has happend to me. Im leaving for home for collage at the end of the month. Im going to study game and simulation programming. I have gotten really into dynamic animation also. I have also gotten into fire preforming. (fire breathing, poi, nunchucku, staff) Well its nice to be back.

Intresting idea but worthless if its put up with a fullbody spinner. Im sure there will be one or two of those in the contest. Thats the problem with contest though. You have no idea what you up aginst. im still no sure on a design yea. Im still testing out ideas. Im starting to think about throwing a old bot that I never showed.

I got an idea for a tabletop arena. Its a table top thats basicly the flex top arena but a little larger that spins at a slow speed but it would still affect the driving. Flippers would be great on a arena like that.

Nice bump for a first post. The bot exchange is a scraped idea though.
