I'd say that if a weapon is interchangeable, it'd have to be some that doesn't completely change the robot into a ball of safety. A good example would be Tornado's anti Razer frame of cheapness which had 360 degrees of safety. Ghost Raptor still had vulnerable spots and couldn't drive correctly if the "de-icer" was always engaged. As for BiteForce, there were also many vulnerable spots on it and Tombstone should have done more strategic driving and weapon activation.

And 175 bpm is the about same BPM as the Four Year Strong track. It's really not THAT fast.I mean, its happy, but where's the hardcore? lolDa beatz, man, da beatz. It goes 175 BPM, bro! 11

Well...if you haven't noticed by my signature...
The style is actually sort of picking up it's own sub-genre title, some people prefer Easycore, others like to keep it at Melodic Hardcore and Pop-Punk. My favorite songs in the genre would either be: 14

Honestly, having multiple weight classes in the original battlebots sort of made me lose track that it was a tournament when I grew up watching it. That's sort of what made Robot Wars more appealing; it was that you knew where you were in the scope of the competition. I hope Battlebots would pay more attention in that way, emphasizing what point in the tournament and organize a seeding for hopefully future seasons.

I actually don't like them that much either, actually.OAA has pretty good leads, I just don't like the pitch shifted screams and how generic some of the chugging has become. The have a ton of potential though. |
