Existing Games / Robot Battle

So, I've come across a robot combat game that at one time seemed to have a playerbase, but information about this game is hard to find, and it seemed to just have suddenly died in 2015. The website is down now, but I've found it archived in the Wayback Machine with a working download for the game.

There is info about an IRC channel on the page, there was a couple people there, but nobody responded.

General Support / DSL 2.2 wont start (Resolved)

So, the other day I was playing DSL 2.2, I selected my bot and entered an event. (It was the one with the compressor arena.) Upon entering, the game played, but the other AI bots were not moving. Shortly after, the game crashed with an error message saying something like "Abnormal program termination" or something of the sort. I tried to restart the game, but now it was in windowed mode, and it wouldn't go past the first splash screen. It just sat there, and I continue to have this problem despite editing the fullscreen value in the temp.cfg file. Any ideas?

So ive just downloaded DSL-TC 2.2 and the game runs fine, but whenever i try to save a bot by going to team hq, the bot isn't saved in a slot. somebody help!

I decided to make a crazy looking robot of my own after seeing some robots you guys have made. so i introduce: Johnny Long-Dog

this bot isn't exactly practical, but is does look kinda cool. tell me what you think!
