How do you change the angle of the camera in any arena that you're in? (Like Sonny_Resetti does on his Youtube posts)

I've recently got RA2 to work on our pc, and have installed the DSL version, what can i do to get robots that fought in the real wars, other than those already included in the game? And how am i able to use these robots?
I also need advice on how to download components.
I am a complete newcomer to this sort of thing, so could someone just spell it out for me as simple as possible please?
