I'm not willing to log into the game to find their exact name. But is there a custom component anywhere around here for a longer plate for spinner shell? a 60 cm one was not large enough for my needs, and so there is unnecessary weak spots on my newest PoS bot.
I am, as your all aware, notoriously bad at finding things I need, and so I've failed to locate info about where, assuming this is even existent, I could find larger plates. So if you happen to know, I'd love it if you contributed such info.

So, RA2 is fighting with me, and it has been since before I lost my password.
With much sarcasm, I'll also take this moment to 'thank' the person who somehow found that for me.
Now, anyway, Here is 2 screenshots of a bot I was working on.
This is the wheeled version, it was a basic test bot to see if the concept of a unflippable bot worked in combat. The results were highly informative, it did not. I needed to protect the wheels of the bot, and I needed to turn the wheels into a weapon, since my weapon rack could not reach my opponent.
The logical course of action is to just mod the wheel's so that they do damage, but instead I attempted to play by the book, and I've tried to turn my wheel's into weapons, generating a 0 wheeled robot.
Here is the result.
As you can see, RA2 sort of flipped me the bird on this concept, The weapons that I'm attempting to use as wheel's sunk into the ground, in all 100 tests. The 140 CM Sawblades generated 'better' results, but due to the mechanics of the game, my chassis rotated, rather then using the sawblades as wheels.
This isn't in my showcase because it doesn't work, I'm curious on what idea's you all have on fixing my idea so that I can drive it, I think it would be very powerful if I can make it work, my only concern is I need to armor the weapons I'm using as a drive train, because when those fall off, I'm more then positive the robot would be immobile.

I'm attempting to either find a potent robot in-game, or that I can download to fight against, that would inevitable pwn me over and over unless I actually made something worth fighting. I currently don't think my bots are too effective, I've hoping to improve this like that.

Bear with me, I'm on an overdose of Ginseng and I keep hearing Noises that don't exist and now an occasional voice that aint mine, so I'm typing to ignore whats going on and hopefully live through this attack of whatever sort it is so I can live on with my life. I'd love to just type it and not press submit, but somehow in my head I don't feel like this will help me if I do not push submit and as such unfortunately subject others to my brain sewage. So I've been awake for about 19 hours now (that's normal for me, usually go around 30-40), and I can't stop hearing things, Hydro bought some soda that contains Ginseng in it, and after about 12 cans he pretty much is out, he's sleeping over there right now, after subjecting me to torture of various kinds on accident. I've played Portal-2 again in a single sitting right now, but I don't think its helping me to play it, since it didn't stop any of this background noise I've been hearing. I found that locking myself in a closet for approximately 2-4 minutes helped at first, but it stopped working and the noises have been getting progressively louder, and that is very annoying, frustrating, and new to me. I'm used to this stuff only happening maybe once or twice a month, and going away after 20 or 30 minutes. But rather its been going on or about 7 hours now, and its louder then I've ever heard it before. Thus is bothersome to me, since the noises are generally threatening sounds, like a sliding bade over a rock, or as I heard earlier, a chirping bird that abruptly stops. Other sounds are not threatening, but blatantly impossible, like hearing 4 cats mewing in the front room earlier this evening. Generally when 'm having one of these attacks,I attempt to conceal myself in the smallest place possible, for especially if there is hallways, i can hallucinate and see things that are...troublesome, yet obviously impossible and unreal. So I've found its -okay, just stopping for a second to mention I could have sworn it sounded like that plane was dropping bombs-, So I've found that its best to stick in smaller places, and if things get too intense, I go crawl in a closet and wait for the noise to die down. The noise isn't dying down though, and in fact its gotten louder even as I ytype this. I'm absolutely positive there is a voice speaking to me right now, but if I keep typing I won't hear what it says, I got a good feeling I don't want to know what its saying. Btw, if my Grammar or spelling is horrible I'd like to note i don't think I can spend the time to go back and correct the grammar and spelling on this, if i make a mistake I think is just going to stay there. Has anyone else had experiences of this sort and knows what to do about it? I'm not entirely certain what I'm expect- THAT ONE IS DROPPING BOMBS I'M SURE OF IT- can someone tell Hydro to move his house? I don't like being below and airport, I've been hearing bombs for the last 2 hours and its bothering me. Now, currently I'm hearing what sounds like wood being chopped outside the window, and now it sounds like a person is standing outside the window, but I'm certain they are not. I'm also hearing crows. I think I'll take this moment to say I don't think his is helping at all, I wish Hydro would wake up because if at least one person is sane and awake in here, I might be capable of just going to sleep and waiting for the noises to go away again. I spend too much of my sleeping time fighting this crap to do it when I'm awake too, I'm stronger then this, I just want it to go away. Now his damn dog won't stop barking, s if I didn't have enough on my mind already. I don't think I'm going to spend the night at this house again, there is too much weird stuff going on here for me, and I think I'd be more comfortable in my house where I know where everything is. Besides I feel a bit like a third leg over here. Only 37 more minutes until Hydro wakes up, then I'm free, I can sleep, I'll have something to protect me from what I'm hearing then, and maybe I'd be able to sanely rest. Sorry for the WoT. TLDR =

I'm looking for a program that would allow me to reprogram the functionality of my keys. I checked Microsoft's site and they do not have what I'm looking for.
I was intending on making it so that if I had Tab, or another button like that pushed down, my number keys would function as the Function keys.
So, for example, Tab + 1 would = Function 1. It would be rather useful to have, but I couldn't find a program to do such on Microsofts site.
I'm using a Standard 101/102 key Microsoft Natural keyboard, according to my computers Control Panel.
According to Microsoft I'm not using a keyboard though : P they really don't seem to like old hardware.

I just tried to build a 1X1 robot, and every time it touched the ground in the test room it...exploded. next thing I know I'm outside the window of the test lab with my robot nowhere in sight.
Is this a infamous Havoking problem? I believe I've heard you people call Havoking 'Robots on Crack" before.

Simply trying to compare the performance of our Robots here. I'm personally averaging 19-24K per match, In one round I've gotten 47K, but I'm betting my point values are pretty low, since I'm just starting out.

Hi..Yes...Me. That person that doesn't build and takes up more room then SoTG with his idiocy? Yeah. So Everyone should have a showcase, right? And thats what I'm going to be bringing you here, my showcase of robots that logically shouldn't be capable of even moving in the first place. So, first we have Lazy Autohammer Machine/b/Tech, whom from now on will be referred to as LAMBT for illogical reasons. LAMBT began life as a seemingly pointless pile of scrapmetal, until I found him in the dumpster and decided to throw bolts and screws on fire at it until things HAPPENED. LAMBT told me "Kujii, one day I wanna be so big that I scratch at the weight limit...if there is one". And so it did! I punched in 5 mm Titanium Armor, The largest, most threatening wheels I could find, and A big Hammer, because everything is better with Hammers, except for Isaiah Mustafa, he can't be made better.  Punching into the Ring at 794.1 Heavies, LAMBT thought he ruled the world. He crashed into his first tournament and merly Ran his opponent over, whom thanks to thier lack of proper design, was Crushed beneath his superior Weight, and then disarmed of all exterior equipment in about 7 seconds. LAMBT cheered, and rejoiced, as Kujii repaired it to full strength at the matches end with 24.5 minutes on the clock. Then the Circuit board hit the Fan... His next opponent was much better designed, and threw him around like the piece of Spam-weight he was. Escaping from his second match via bad AI (his opponent veered off a cliff), he went back to the repair stations with, according to the creator's Calculator, about 12 hours worth of needed repairs, and not enough time to even re-attach both his wheels. Sent out with the equivalent of a broken leg, his next opponent crushed him without mercy. As Kujii ate the pitiful meal he gained as a Reward, LAMBT lamented his fate, he asked Kujii "Why wasn't I good enough?" Kujii, slowly swallowed, then with a casual glance over said "Teehee, Silly, I BUILT YOU...what did you expect :3" As LAMBT's circuit-board failed him, he wistfully hoped in his next life someone whom knew what they were doing would curve his body with their expert hands...Maybe ACAMS or Sage...anyone but Kujii... ____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________ If you don't like the bot, at least you got a weird story outa viewing this.

What really gets to me is their plans to discontinue to 1984 model of the bible, so that, in the future, churches that are currently boycotting this book will be forced to buy it if they want bibles. The Fu-? Capitalism, politics, we ruin everything!

I didn't consider this bot too sad of an excuse to not try its performance in combat, but now I get this error during gameplay.  Enemy robots don't move or act like they are capable of moving, going into the center of the Arena, or making collision with any robots crashes the client with that note. It also instantly crashes if I stand still 27.8 seconds, according to my recording tech. If it matters, my music is turned off for RA2, and generally I have a you-tube Que list playing in the background, however it still crashes with the Que off. Any further info anyone needs?

So I've been trying to test my new bot in the test lab, to see how much punishment it can take, but whenever I wreck my robot past the point where it can operate, it yells 'Great Match', starts to play some victory music, then the client crashes, and usually, my work doesn't save. Anyone know a workaround for the issue, or how to resolve it? EDIT: You cannot delete your own topics in this board. Check to make sure this topic wasn't just moved to another board. I posted too fast, and clicked stock instead of DSL, can this please be moved there so I can get the proper assistance?

Acid doesn't cut it for me I suppose, but Garage band for Macs always worked very well, does anyone have any good suggestions for music editing software that is either cheap to buy, or I could probably pirate rather easily? ^^
Music Creation Software, Map Creation tech, etc, is all types of software I've been looking to gather for when it comes time to make my stuff become reality, so essentially any program that is versatile is likely to fit into my criteria.
I'm looking to be able to create beats on many different notes, so yeah; any suggestions?

So, I've finally created a robot with the proper amount of batteries, weaponry, AI chip, etc etc. I'm thinking I'll call it Mr. Plow.
Now I've got one problem left; for the life of me i can't figure out what I'm supposed to do to make it move, I'm certain it is mobile, since its wheel's are attached to piglet molters, and holding the contraption up. Anyone have any idea what I'm missing?
