Well, I don't really use Customs much anymore. Probably should quit posting in the customs thread. Anyhoo, lets roll on. I'm just going to knock these guys out 1 by 1, then I'll do a post on my signature bot later this week BIG TEX was my 1st SHW for TexBots and 1st SHW in general. Its pretty much a SHW version of Midland Monster (which was for HelloFace's Spring Tournament) It was suppose to be in Battlebots but never saw the light of day for one reason or another. Dallas was Texbot's 1st HW, and led on to the inspiration of Steel of San Antonio. Pretty much ran on 5 ramming spikes, which in hindsight shouldve all been Razors. It Split Decisioned in Battlebots, but lost. Midland Monster, Which I was talking about earlier. It did kinda poorly in Helloface's tournament. Pretty much standard VS Lastly its Textanic, Which was going to be a MW I used often for Battlebots and one of Kurt's random tournaments. Pretty much never saw the light of day due to nobody knowing how to AI it properly. I'll show off the San Antonio Family later.

This was apparently some Russian event. A lot of the robots look really cool (though not being as competent, but I wont give them sh** because look at India) and a few of the Robot Wars Heavyweights came to fight as well

After finally coming up with an ideal wedge and drive, my new issue is weaponry.
I'm currently working on a 4WD VS to replace Steel of San Antonio, and have tried many setups, starting with MOE blade, then to 20x120 DSL blade with Large Beater Bars on the end. Now trying Blades, but nothing is working for the real KO power I need.
I'm open to ideas, but have found a liking to those Hammer like weapons on Sir Benevolent from Live Designs. But when I look for said weapon I cannot find it. So now I'm looking for suggestions on how to make the best effective weapon.
Thank you in advance.

Yes. By US style I mean Spinners. Jonno has 2 HW/FW events planned out in 2016 featuring 1 on 1 Double Elimination full combat events, no house robot interference plus a new arena. The events will be filmed.
Discuss, I wonder if any old spinners from RW, or maybe even entries from the USA will be there.

You have to cast - 1 Pit Reporter
- 1 Post Match Interviewer
- 2 Hosts/Commentators
- 16-20 Competitors/Drivers
Who do you cast? Thought I'd do this to pass the time until we have more info. Feel free to add any other positions if you wish [Professional Analysts, a 2nd Reporter, etc.]

I dont know if this could be a thing. But last night, I was showering and this popped in my head.
People who attend tournaments at the FlexTop arena. Arent they getting screwed over? I mean. Matches end in 5 damn seconds and there's only 5 to begin with. I imagine the event being at least 20$ to attend, thats some bull right there.

I was surprised when someone told me there was a show similar to Robot Wars in South Korea. Initially I expected those weird Humanoid fetish robots doing karate or some shenanigans like that, but looking up on YT and navigating through the pornography; I found it.
Robot Power. This show had a surprising range of robots that fought (around 20+) And even have some weird house robot. They do a Trial (kind of based around Stock Car from series 1) As round 1, Then 2 Fights in round 2. Every now and then they throw in those wierd Fetish bots for whatevers. But it seems pretty cool. The arena is like a mix of Battlebots and Robot Wars
