What decks do you play? My current's a U/B Mill deck. Modern, not Standard, because I can't bear to replace Nemesis of Reason.

Got it. Completed Campaign on Easy, thought we could set up some Spartan Ops or War Games matches at some point. Anyways, other than that discuss Halo 4. What did you guys think of the storyline?

This was just an idea banded around by me and Gaz during a conversation on Skype...
Basically, we'll talk about random stuff (probably best that we decide beforehand in future...), and record the convo.
For the first one, we decided to play Slender...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey5XG0e-uVM&feature=player_detailpage#

Audio recording from Gaz, pictures added by me. I'm the one playing Slender first (The first person you hear screaming, basically.)

We would prefer to have more people for the conversations in future, maybe two more, so that the conversation flows better. We'll probably have different people in the conversation each time so that there's variation. Who knows. Time will tell. I shall now shut up and let you watch (well, listen to) the video.

Chatterbox / The GTM Armoury
« on: August 20, 2012, 07:26:27 PM »
Basically, I've been talking to a few people recently, and weapons seem to be a recurring topic of conversation. I couldn't find any thread for discussing this, so...this exists now.

I've been considering ordering a sword. More specifically the 'Dark Sentinel':

But, you know, guns are welcome, too.

Off-Topic Discussion / Car build projects
« on: August 08, 2012, 08:14:02 PM »
Just a general thread for any projects on building/restoring cars that you may have going.

I guess I'll mention my Singer Chamois...The engine is rebuilt and now we're just cleaning and repainting the engine bay so that we won't have to take the engine out again to do any work in that area. We've got to rust-proof and underseal that area as well as put filler on the rear crossmember to cover up a huge dent. We would beat the dent out of the crossmember, but it's double-skinned.
Also starting a Caterham build in September/October, so that should be interesting.

Off-Topic Discussion / Music/Movie reviews you disagree with
« on: May 22, 2012, 02:55:34 PM »
I've been reading some album reviews (and, yes, I know most of them are a load of rubbish and completely biased, but some of them are ridiculously unfair (especially since they are for a public, well-known website))
So, yeah, post ones that you find absolutely ridiculous here with your comments.
I got one here:

Existing Games / The Incredirobotwars series returns!
« on: March 04, 2012, 11:27:58 AM »
I've decided. I will make one more game in incredibots 2 before I release a new series when incredibots 3 is released. It will have interchangeable bots for each side, a spike trap (with activation button) and pits opening after a certain time. If you wish to be part of the creation crew for the new series, send me a PM of your own robot wars robot creation from series 1, and the successful ones will be placed in the incredibots 2 final game.

I am aiming for all robot creations to have standard controls, like so:
P1:
a - left
d - right
w - flipper (if applicable, and flipper should retract with grav.)
e - front weapon (if applicable)
q - rear weapon (if applicable)
P2:
j - left
l - right
i - flipper (if applicable, and flipper should retract with grav.)
u - front weapon (if applicable)
o - rear weapon (if applicable)

Off-Topic Discussion / Grooveshark playlists
« on: November 23, 2011, 02:12:53 PM »
It's easy - if you have a grooveshark account, share your playlist using the Playlist URL. Copy the URL in the taskbar and post it here. You need a grooveshark account to make a playlist and share it.
Here's my prototype everyday playlist:
http://grooveshark.com/#/playlist/Daniel+Watts+s+Playlist/58794810
You may notice its main components before even loading it into the Now Playing queue. I don't expect y'all to like it, I'm not even sure I enjoy a few of the songs.

So, bring us your playlists.

Chatterbox / Thing of the Week
« on: August 23, 2011, 02:05:42 PM »
I thought this might be a bit of fun, something to keep us talking about new stuff all the time. You PM me your nomination for the 'Thing of the Week', followed by a paragraph stating why you think it should be the topic we discuss on this thread. I will go through the PMs on Sundays, and the 'TotW' will be announced on Monday. I will quote your PM as part of the announcement, so be careful what you write. I will only be taking this week's nominations until Thursday, Noon (GMT), because I leave on holiday then, and I'm just going to do a quick test for this week. The announcement will be made by G.K. on Friday, and will be on some other weeks when I'm not around.

Well, PM your nominations to me, and we'll see how this goes.

EDIT: BTW, the 'TotW' can be absolutely anything, as long as your argument for it stands. It can be an object, a place, a game, a video or a series on YouTube, a news article, a website, even a GTM member. So, there's a few ideas for you.

Existing Games / Forza 4
« on: August 16, 2011, 10:12:58 AM »
This is gonna be the biggest, best looking, and overall greatest driving simulator ever (well, on Xbox anyway). So...who's getting it? Also, don't be douches and include GT5 in this, K? This isn't an argument thread over which is better. It's just so's we can talk about the game. So...
...what with the partnership with Top Gear, the monthly updates, the 80+ manufacturers, and the online owners clubs and group garage sharing, this is looking like an absolutely awesome game.

Chatterbox / British GTM member gathering
« on: May 01, 2011, 05:01:45 AM »
Hey, all you Brits! I was wondering - VEVO and I were just discussing how far away we were from eachother, so, I thought perhaps the British population of GTM members could all meet up at a decided place, and then...I dunno, just thought it would be cool, is all. (hehe, that rhymed.) Anywho, if we find out where people are, we can see where is equidistant, so that the two furthest away don't have to go so far.

It's difficult for me ATM, because I live in two places, due to my parents. But by the end of this month, they'll both be in Holmer Green, so I would be there.

Post where you live, and we can see where it goes from there.

This is a great website, which uses post-it notes on a board, as an organising thing.

I've made a group on there for Gametechmods, if people would like to join. Here's the website

If you post your usernames, I'll invite you to the group.

Off-Topic Discussion / Embeding Flash games?
« on: January 08, 2011, 08:56:02 AM »
I can't seem to be able to do it. I can't find an embeding code that works. This is the game: http://www.incredifriends.com/if/game.php
It's for going on a Proboards forum, so bear this in mind.

Anyone play this?

If so, tell me your username there, and we can play in a private game. If we always start a private game in the 'Flat World' forum, and call it GTM, then others can join this!

Existing Games / Challenge me on Incredibots!
« on: December 07, 2010, 01:41:59 PM »
I will make this as simple as possible. I will start as Champion, I accept the challenger, and whoever wins becomes champion. Whenever a challenger comes forward, a match will be set up by a non-biased host. I suggest one challenger every week, chosen by the standing champion. The code here shows the size range, which you can import into incredibots and build inside. This is not for a pit regulation, but for fairness in size. No fixating...or thrusters...or cannons.

This is a games forum. It should be mostly about Incredibots, but all games are welceome to discussion.

Yeah, it could be talked about in the 'Games' board here, but I wanted this fresh new community. You're all welcome.

Chatterbox / Philosophical advice
« on: November 09, 2010, 04:33:18 PM »
ATM, I'm thinking philosophically. Here are a couple of examples:

-'Good things come to those who wait...death comes to those who wait TOO LONG.'
-'The day after tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life. That way, you always have a couple of days in hand.'

True but funny. Post your own! Enlighten us!
