 So yeah quicker than most of you guys probably expected (but that's how I roll) but I'm proud to announce a squeal to my somewhat successful stock LW round robin tourney. This one will be IRL however because I promised to do it if it lost out to stock like it did. No complaining please. Tis my sixth tournament so I know what I'm doing, so without further a due lets get down to the nitty gritty. Rules-DSL IRL (will be enforced but not to the extreme) - 2 Min fights judged by myself -Heavy weight bot class no more than 800 kg -Tread bots get no extra cushion -Multi bots ARE allowed as long as the combined weight is no over 800 -1 entry per person -Arena will be skinned BBEANS V2 - No NARmour - 1 Havok restart, 2nd time eliminated - No AAM, NCR glitch, or any other glitch that makes the bot unrealistic - Trov Glitch is allowed, don't abuse it - You are allowed to BFE as long as the bot stays realistic -Go crazy with replicas I really don't care as long as you follow the other guidlines - Moving weapons may not touch the ground initially. It is OK if a robot is flipped over but not if weapons hit the ground when the match starts. -2 Judge burst max -no walkers/shufflers WEAPONS

Out of shear curiosity and love for the game I tend to do tournaments with a s*** load of different packs. I've been doing them for a while now but I decided to document them as well just for fun. You guys can request any mod you want and I can do a tournament for those bots.  I know i haven't been around too much lately and I had to cancel my last tournament, but Im no longer so busy and I have time to run this tournament So I present to you, The 2014 RA2 World Cup! It Will be ran kind of like the world cup itself with the groups and knockout stages. Ill get to the rules in a second here. Format) 1.DSL HW IRL 799.99 weight limit 2.4 groups of 4 so 16 entries in all. All robots will fight one another in the group so 3 fights guaranteed 3.Top 2 from each group advance to the knockout phase based on the points system 4.Knockout phase is single elimination 8 robot bracket based on a random draw (with a third place match) 5. Robot who wins the knockout phase is declared world champion. Points system 1. A win will give you 3 points (even if it is forced to a judges decision) 2. A loss by knockout, OOTA, immobilization will result in 0 points 3. A loss by points at the end of time is 1 points 4. once again top 2 teams of each group advance Rules etc etc 1. Double Elimination 6. Skinned DSL tourney arena 7. No BFE AAM, etc 8. Arena Hazards On 9. No in game glitches 10. No pop ups jugglers or crawlers but other than that all bot types are allowed 11. Hello, I have decided to finish out my 2L2Q series with a third and most likely final one. Since I have already done a middleweight and heavy weight tourney I have decided to host a LW weight tournament. There will be two divisions just like last time. An IRL and a generic. Only big changes are there is now 2 minute matches and multibots are not allowed. I will also be accepting 16 entries per division instead of 8 like last time (This way there is more fights). I need some program to record audio files on my computer but I cannot find any good programs that are free. I tried NCH software but after two weeks it said that my trial was over. So does anyone know where a good free audio recording is and can they point me toward it?

  Every time I open ANY version of RA2 it crashes and gives me the not responding error message. What am I doing wrong? and does anyone else have this problem? It only happens sometimes but when it does, it drives me INSANE. It only crashes when I start it up though no other time. Please help

Well I have been here a while now and for some reason never started a show case so I finnaly decided to do one.  Forget About It 248'ish Here's my first bot and entry into Sheet Metal it's an IRL LW with plastic 3 5 ants npc's 2 ice picks and a sledge hammer. Does really well in competition.

Well I had a little bit of a succes running my first tourney so I plan to make this one even better. Plus I'm starting to like IRL  Rules for the IRL Division
1. DSL HW IRL Rules
2. I can AI but it is a lot easier if you just do so yourself
3. Will be recorded with ZD Soft game recorder (exactly like fraps)
4. 8 Entries
5. Double Elimination
6. (possibly) skinned DSL tourney arena
7. No BFE AAM, etc
8. Arena Hazards On
9. No in game glitches
10. No pop ups jugglers or crawlers but ather than that all bot types are allowed
11. Multi bots are allowed max weight for each is 400 kg Combined max is 800 kg you have to beat both of the bots to beat the multi bots
12. deadline will be one month after this is in the sign ups
13. bots can be upgraded ONLY once
14. No hax mode
15. no stacking
16. One havok match is restarted TWO havoks and the bot that caused it will be disqualified
17. I will not be entering this time
18. Metal hinges ARE allowed
19. Judge bursts ARE allowed
20. best two out of three
21. 3 miniute matches

GF93 was unable to skin the arena. I will just use a failed arena skin(afterall it doesn't really matter right. So predict away!
