Discussion / Button to turn off attatchment points.

As an example, right now I'm trying to attach a 3rd piston in my chassis, but while I'm trying to find the right position it is constantly jumping to unusable attachment points inside the chassis, ones that are againt other parts. Would be useful, but then I don't know how hard it would be to make.

Pretty much my first bots in DSL, probably spent about 20 hours on them all.

I know that some of them are considered useless, but I'm mainly toying around.

Been working on Packa Punch since 9am, it's now 5pm. Mainly tweaking and remaking lol.

I'll be making some more at some point, other than a drum bot.

Discussion / DSL = glitchy?

I'm trying to use DSL for the first time, and I'm working on my second design which failed more than my first.

My first design was a LW drum with a skirt, problem being that with the skirt attached the screen and bot would vibrate/shake like there is no tomorrow while in game, and the skirt would "Disappear" into the floor. I did set the start/finish to the same spot.

Second design is a HW drum, which while testing when the motor starts up and I lightly press a key to turn the robot will "float" onto its side and slowly spin....

Is it really that glitchy?

Hey guys, I saw a video the other day and this guy had a custom painted extender, it had a "line/mark" showing which side you could attach to, I was wondering if anyone had this? Thanks in advance.

General Support / Problem with DSL

When ever I'm in the "repair" bot screen, with the list of damage, it lags really hard, it must drop to atleast 1frame per second, untill all the damage is gone, and then it's fine. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I've come here after searching on google for a while :D. I'm an old skool RA2 player, and have had it for years, I recently got hold of it again and I am here asking for advice, I've never patched/used addons in RA2 before now, which is why I would like some help. I'm running version 1.20 and quite experienced at making bots.
I would like to know at where to start at putting addons and patches to improve game play.:D
I play LAN games quite often, so another question would be: If I patch all the computers in the house can I stil play LAN games, or do the patches affect all multiplayer aspects?
