Thanks Nary! Both I and those new to your AI pack appreciate it.

Yeah, I guess so. I was just wondering because of the lull between releases of the AI pack (but now I realize that the AI pack should work in DSL 2.2 just fine). I just can't find NAR AI v2.7 anywhere (or whatever the most recent version is), so I figured I'd ask. I guess that's really what I'm after. >.<

Hi Naryar. Since you're moving this pack on to DSL 2.2, and for the sake of legacy support of 2.1 and those waiting for the new NAR AI 3.1 version to be released, do you plan on making a final, complete version of the NAR AI that works with DSL 2.1 available for download? I would love to try this pack out. I know I could just download v2.4 from the downloads page of the forum, but it would be cool to have the newest version, too.
Thanks and good luck finishing up the pack for DSL 2.2! ![]() 4

So, here's a question for anyone here. Say you're fighting a robot like Tombstone and your robot is Bite Force. Would you have done anything different if you were Bite Force? (if you are worried about the moral use of interchangeable weapons)
I recently saw a fight between Last Rites (Tombstone) and another bot Sewer Snake (Stinger: TKB) for the 2011 Robogames Heavyweight Final and a similar outcome occurred with Sewer Snake taking plenty of damage, but still surviving the round. Link here for anyone who hasn't seen the fight before. However, I may side on the grounds that a set interchangeable weapons/wedges/etc. should probably be approved before the tournament even starts. Perhaps that would eliminate this argument altogether because it seems like people are more upset about people doing what The Matador...*ahem*...excuse me...Bronco and Ghost Raptor did to prepare for some of their fights by "gerry-rigging" things onto their robots instead of robots who came prepared with interchangeable weapons like Bite Force and Stinger. I'm sure ABC and BattleBots Productions will sit down and talk this over, since this appears to be an important conversation...as soon as Season 2 gets cleared for production. ![]() 6

Discussion / Re: Robot Arena 3!« on: July 21, 2015, 02:12:58 AM »
When I checked the RA site today I nearly screamed out loud. I can not fully describe how absolutely ecstatic I feel that we are, eventually (please for the love of all that is well and good, don't rush it so you can take advantage of the holiday season), finally getting a brand-spanking new Robot Arena game. I've read through the thread and so far I see a lot of cynicism, which I can understand. The idea of having a 3rd installment seemed bleak at best and along with so many fake RA3 "announcements"...it's no wonder everyone is a little bit skeptical about this.
It's nice to hear from the guys at Gabriel Interactive, though. It's good to hear that they still actually do things. ![]()
