a few others don't load the AI which leads to crashes after a few seconds.

i asked about this a while back and someone posted a link to a fixed events.txt. even though it's for dsl 2.1, i think it should still work

replace the existing events.txt (should be in the same folder as robot arena 2.exe) with the patched one

i can't add a saw blade to my bot if any part of the weapon is outside of the bot.

is this intentional? seems strange that i can only add a saw blade to the inside of the bot, where it won't do any damage.

Robot Arena 2 crashes every time I either attempt to edit a team or the name of a bot's control. It seems to do this in both 2.1 and 2.2 versions of DSL (the ones that can be downloaded on gametechmods, ready modified), as well as the stock game.
This did not happen on my previous machine, a Windows 10 laptop. The computer the crashes are occurring on now is Windows 7.
Does anybody have a way to fix this?

My computer is running Windows 10.

Everything loads fine, until I play the map "Compressor" or "Ocean Platform" in Career mode. The AI bots don't move in the match, and a few seconds later, the game crashes with this message:

It does this every time I load the maps this way.

This doesn't happen when playing on the maps in Exhibition mode. It did not happen when I first downloaded the mod, it just suddenly began crashing yesterday.

Check if you are showing hidden files and if the folder is read-only

The folder isn't read-only, and I just enabled the viewing of hidden files. It made no difference.

I assume you installed RA2 from CD because I did this as well and I had the exact same problem. For some unknown reason, the exported bots went down this path for me:

I downloaded Robot Arena 2 from this website with DSL 2.1 pre-installed.

C:/Users/Family/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Infogrames/Robot Arena 2/Robot Designs

Okay. I found them here. Thanks.
I even discovered an old bot I made the day I got this game. Thought I lost it.

General Support / Saved bots don't appear in the Robot Designs folder

I imported a bunch of bots I made in DSL 2.1, but when I checked the Robot Designs folder it said they would be in, they weren't there.

However, exporting them in game works perfectly fine.

Any way to fix this?
