Hemidemisemiquaver - Great name (And fun to say) and looks good skin wise, and imo the hammer looks pretty cool.
The cat bot with no name (It felt good to be out of the rain) - Cartoony would be better from a art-bot perspective, it'd give it a more "Cutesy" look, which would look better. Realistic look would fit in with the "Coolness" of Raven etc.
Tibsy, in general, your bots are still amazing, and tbh have actually inspired me to try and build again. On another note, I love the more positive and confident outlook! I remember when you were feeling down about your bots, and I completely know the feeling, and to see the pride is really awesome. Keep it up, dude :D

Sorry to DP, but I have something "New" to post, that is relevant. I've completely resigned the flipper's look, and given it a more powerful motor, as the original was struggling a bit, it couldn't lift another bot. The problem with using the beta was that it often kept flipping itself back, so I struggled with the rear bar. The flipper is also more effective, as the previous used the flipper segments to attempt to get under, while this one uses skirt plate thingies. So, as for the checklist: Replaced the useless rear spike ☑ Changed the title of the showcase as not to cancel itself out ☑

Tibsy: I can't say there have been, as I haven't tested it in the ring. I'll get to that when I can.
Kurt: Alright mate, no need for grammatical justice (jks) but I'll change that. I'll also remove the razor and motor, but I'm curious what would be an effective replacement, other than armour? (Though if that's nothing in place, I'll happily armour up. Speaking of which, I may have forgotten to put armour on. Is DSA still worthless in Ironforge?)
Thanks for the feedback so far. I may make a milestone/checklist type thing, wherein I mark down all the pieces of criticism and advice, and see if I have rectified what I needed to. It'd be mostly for me, but I (Very rarely) like to show off.

Hey guys, haven't dropped by here for a while (Well, that's a lie, I've lurked.). Anyway, here's my first ever Ironforge bot. The splash is kinda terrible, as it's pretty late, I'm pretty tired. The bot is more geared towards aesthetics than use. As in, I haven't tested it in battle, but I'd like to see if people like what I've made, and whether to expand on that style, or head in different directions. Any and all criticism is welcome! Just as a point, it is loosely based on the real robot Twister, as per the random blade on the back.

Yeah, I am absolutely addicted to them. I just make reference wherever I can, not where I see fit. It's not often there's a burning bed for a robot, though!

Thanks for the advice Craaig, it was a whole lot easier than trying to maths. Even though the game crashed twice, for no apparent reason. And also I can't import skins, as that makes it crash, no matter what system I try on. Also also, I know it's terrible, but I haven't built in quite a while, and my "Skills" have become rusty. Either way, it looked a lot better when it was being built, than in does here.

Well, it's about time I started with this. I have a couple questions before I post my first bot here, which seems a tad weird for one of these threads, but I'd rather not necro random threads for answers. Basically, I'm trying to BFE the back of the chassis so it goes something like ___ / \___
that. It's weird, I know, but the first robot I wanted to do was my own, to at least a semi realistic standard. I will follow your lot's advice, and work on a singular bot at a time (Bar the first, which is just for fun and practice. I will be making IRL, hopefully half decent bots.
Thanks guys, the bot will be up shortly after I find out the fix to my problem. Sorry if this chassis has been done already, with a tut, but I can't find it for the life of me.
[EDIT] Yeah, I realised that my profile picture has what I needed to do. Oh well, if you can see the back of that, that's basically what I want, if possible. I'm sure it's been done, I remember a picture with a similar in, out and back in bit.

*Doesn't get it, considering it's probably an American team.*

Bloody hell, I forgot to update here!
Anyway, I actually have news. A very kind person is selling me a custom full pressure pneumatic setup, whom I shall not mention here. Also, if I'm lucky, I may be getting some very nice Iskra motors, 50w more powerful than the Bosch-es, in theory. I still have yet to get some money out of my dad. Good luck me!
I've just realized I may have one of the shunned Levellers. Or more likely a clone :P

Same to you HB, I just hope I've actually gotten either A. the thing working Or B.The parts, depending if my dad is a generous man... Who am I kidding XD
I believe the event is in Feb, if my memory serves me, which it should at least have motors and the rest of the Speed Controller. I'll PM you on the state when it actually has more to show than a frame. Which looks way too much like Leveller. Keeps it out of the thread from now on (Although I will be keeping build diaries on here and FRA Forum. Self plug FTW)
[EDIT]
Mechadino is very correct, daleksec deserves some recognition! Assuming you live somewhere in the UK, feel free to come down to an event, same as I've invited HereticBlue, and come have a go! (And if you don't, sorry I can't fly to [Insert place of living here] as I am in no position to be flying to places, especially with 100kg cargo haha)

These, along with the others, are just... Amazing, even with a few years of practice in CAD, I don't think I could even come within a mile of how good these are. By the way, if you don't get the chance, once my heavy is done, feel free to have a go, tbh, you'd probably drive a lot better than me anyway. (I've had horrible radio problems in the past... Mainly, pointing the stick towards the top right would go forwards, but bottom left was spin on the spot :/ )
tl;dr next year, if you haven't already had a go with a heavy, feel free to have a go with The Procrastnitron.

Sorry to hear about what happened dude, I couldn't imagine the stress that her, and yourself have gone through. Good to hear everything's getting back to normal, though.
Anyway, I've had a quick browse through this thread, and omg, they're amazing. I tried replicas once, and failed, and it makes me happy to see that someone's gone to the effort of making all of these. (Maybe my heavy will get made... One day)

Thank you, Mr. Tacos.
Updatey Time! I've been offered some wheelchair motors quite cheap from a nearby mobility shop. Awaiting reply on their stock of said motors.

@Playzooki Funnily enough, I have. I've build a few crap little things that had no place in any post, but they're all in parts now.
@Badnik96 Yes, I believe it was, I'm not sure if it is just a leveller clone or a real one, either way, I like it.
@Kurt Wylde It's fine dude, I wasn't trying to be harsh in the way I said it, just trying to clarify things :)

It was a PM'ed thing. Search "Metanoia" on the forums, it was Harry's robot before mine, and presumably the leveller team's before him. I dunno it's history that well.

Sooo, first post here. Anyone like NerdCubed? If so, you may find yourself familiar with the name. The Procrasnitron is a... erm... Tribute of sorts, to my favourite YouTuber for the past couple of years, Daniel Hardcastle. Anyway, here's a link to the robot itself: http://imgur.com/xvUb4WRO plan to make it an interchangable "Boop Stick" AKA Hammer, and it's original component, the flipper. Maybe one day, a crusher, but the budget won't allow that. So... err... That's about that. Oh, and hello everyone!
