I decided it was time to come back and build some bots so I installed the DSL included in Sage's signature, but noticed you can't use stock components in your bot.... how did you show them up? I forgot  :baby_smily:

I remember seeing that the reason it loves walls is because the forward heading in the bot file is a bit off, I fixed it for myself but I lost the file and now after 2 years I don't remember how to do it.

On topic, has anyone fixed it? I think it would be pretty awesome if Sage's sig included the sentinel with the fixed file.

Sea bots:

Much like the hover bots, but a arena with water/only water and a floating component for robots.
(Im not sure water is even possible in RA2*)

If you need someone to make easy, realistic bots, tell me, I usually do simple things (Thats why I rarely play agaisn't anything but stock AI) D:

(I even used to code AI like 2 years ago, I might need a mind refresh to do it again)

Basically a part that lets components activate/deactivate in a sequence, in order to do complex movements.

I got an idea for the new DSL: The Sequencer chip.

You can wire controls to it as the normal circuit board, but this one follows them in a sequence.

[S31] [S32] [S33] <- Sequence 3

All start running at the same time, but you can make longer ones as in the example:

Example:

Bob wires a piston and a Ztek Motor.

Bob programs the sequencer to fire the piston when <key> is pressed, then keep it stretched for 3 seconds.

Bob proceeds to program the ztek to move clockwise and counter clockwise.

Bob programs the piston to retreat (takes 0.5s)

Bob programs the piston to do a quick fire (takes 0.5s)

Bob programs a hidden hammer so it crushes the damaged bot when the sequence is over.

Actually guys, secret tip here: Using Firebeetle's f9 window cheat mode, you can change the color of the sky to whatever you want. See if you can figure it out.

Ah. Well If that's the case:

Grey = Bad Stock/Bad DSL
Black/White = Stock/DSL
Yellow = Good Stock / Good DSL
Orange = Artbots
Green = Starcore/Nar AI
Blue = Starcore V4/123 AI
Purple = SHW's/UHW's

(If you haven't noticed yet, that's the same system that Titan Quest uses for it's items)

I would support that Idea.

offtopic: If I edit the hazards.py to make fire and electricity stronger, do I have to touch the compiled hazards?

Hmm I still don't get it. How do I "fix" the Teams.txt and how would I toggle the difficulty?
