We've all seen RWRA2 robots fight, potentially a lot of times. Many, many people have made their own events using this lineup and had a great time. What I'm trying to do is effectively put all of the skills I and others have learned along the way of doing things like this to make one "grand daddy" of events using the mod - with live commentary, active house robots, and the 2017 show format split across five heats and a grand rumble for the last spot. With a pilot that nobody will see pretty much done, and now full filming for the upcoming series complete, I'm getting this project underway - be prepared to see more later this year (summer is a last-possible-time estimate that buys myself a lot of time here). There's some spectacular, exciting combat in this series and it'll be a lot of fun to go through it all.

life's gotta be sad when you realise the only coverage your game is going to get absolutely anywhere is a jerma video of it repeatedly falling apart online

I feel so bad for Craig Danby. He built something great, but got screwed - yes, by something that was somewhat in his control, but still. Could've done so much better

Honestly, these kinds of posts is why I left GTM in the first place. You think you can do anything, and you are wrong.
And because of this, I will be severely decreasing my activity on GTM.

Cherub beat PP3D fairly.
Aggression, in Robot Wars, is defined by "bringing the fight to the opponent". It is based on how much time you spend directly taking on the opponent head-on. Cherub was doing that, it drove straight into the spinner around three times, dictating the fight and stopping it from spinning, while PP3D was incredibly defensive and was just sitting back for portions, waiting for its disc to spin up.
That, combined with the poor control of PP3D, gives Cherub the fight. Aye, but completely disregarding the entire first half wasn't right to Behemoth either. It doesn't help that the only thing we got out of giving Cherub the benefit of the doubt was a 5 second battle.
I don't know where you got that impression, I'm very sure they counted the whole fight.

While I was intending on getting some bonus stuff done before this thread was locked it isn't going to happen in the time given. I bid you farewell on this tournament with the AI pack.

Remember when PCs were in such a state that the Battlebox and 4 robot battles would lag computers?

Knock knock: it's over.
Thanks for entering, lads! There may be some more battles later but all my time-restricted obligations are over and that's all that really matters. It was a lot of fun seeing what you guys came up with!

That went exactly as I expected. 3 hs and one lolstiltbot left. Definitely rooting for Giece now Requesting a bonus bracket for the jokebots.
I'm definitely up for taking ideas for some extra battles at the end but it's hard to work out exactly what the joke bots are in this tournament so more specific requests would be great

Next episode will be the last one! I'll do both round 3 and the finals as there's three battles left. Next week at latest but anything is possible *shrug*

A set of Joy-Con costs $80 USD. These can either be used as one controller, or separately as two. The Dual Shock 4 and the Xbox One controllers both sell at an MSRP of $60 USD and can only be used as a single controller.
if you ever tried to use the wiimote on its side for virtually anything you'd realise this is an awful idea, very few games are actually seriously playable and controllable like that. an even smaller controller, some of which have the analogue stick in the middle, is definitely not going to cut it. also three hour battery life for zelda LEL

Well I had them covered because I'd done some shuffling in the background I didn't want to spoil. There's your actual bracket that's not awful this time!
