Real Robotics Discussion / Best starter kits/where to start?

hey, i've been interested in combat bots for a long time and always wanted to make one but never had any idea where to start or what to buy, so now ive been looking around at antweights and i think its the best place for me to start.

Was wondering if anyone knows a really good starter kit which has everything i need to make a small rc bot which resembles an antweight and im looking to spend under £100. Thanks in advance

I bought RA2 A good while back and found it yesterday, so having a bit of fun on it but i remembered having a lot of custom parts and now returning here i see many new mods. I need to know which of the mods for RA2 are the best to download and that won't harm my game.

I dont want any mods that have those overpowered items, i remembered having a mod which have a tiny battery but an insane output. I want realistic items. Thanks for the help in advance
