I wanted to do something similar for my entry, but since I put it off until the last few hours I had to try something different.

Even if I hadn't procrastinated, I don't think mine would've been nearly as good as yours.  Good job :thumbup

Hmm... only bots I stand a chance against are Sage's, Ty4er's, the byebots, and maybe Badnik's.  Everything else has a wedge and therefore will beat me.  Oh well, this is what happens when you lose motivation and put it off until the last day.

Could have done with some airtanks, Ounce :P

#1: I hate you, not for beating my robots, but for reminding me of my most humiliating moment playing RA2 online.  Credit given for fitting 2 beta motors on a LW, but the splash sucks.  P.S. I don't actually hate you.

#2:  Seems like something jaydee would make.  Not the most interesting honestly, and can that even be considered a splash?  Also from my experience snowplows aren't good components to use for a flipper blade, but maybe that's not the case here.

#3:  My intuition tells me that this design does not have a lot of combat potential, even if it had better drive, but the overall look is interesting.

#4:  Not much to say about this one: it's a wedge.  A wedge with the second best paintjob here, but still a wedge.

My vote goes to #3.

I too wonder about the effectiveness of the last one, considering the weapons probably don't hit the target at the same time, as well as the exposed front.  Still think the idea is interesting.

Messala II reminds me more of my Protostar rather than Quark, but at least you managed to make the design somewhat invertible.

Love the VS.  Don't know if that wedge is effective, but it's certainly necessary.

Granted, but it's too big.

I wish my computer had a decent video card.

I agree that this has been a great tournament to follow, even if some of the matches weren't that great to watch.  Thanks RedAce for this fun trip down memory lane.

On an unrelated note:  G.K. has returned?  For real?  That is freaking awesome!!!

This is an interesting idea for a tournament.  I'll consider entering, but I don't know what weight class this will be.

Looks amazing.  The only complaint I have is that there should be a slot in the back of the chassis where the hammer arm goes through it.

nah, kinda interested to see how someone else would run one of these
No offense but IIRC, you yourself didn't host this tournament series originally.

Definitely gonna try and build a new LW for this, and I also have plans to modify Aviator H.  Unsure about my MW and SHW though.

10/10 not enough Hworf blades.

Few entries, but thankfully all of them look decent.

#1 is a KaiZa clone, but looks even better than the original.  Splash is dark and minimalistic, but it works.
#2 is certainly something; you almost never see any Backscratcher clones.  Very much kawaii as f***.
#3 is well built, but honestly doesn't belong in a BOTM competition.  The setup is generic, the paintjob is average, and beating Rebel 2 says nothing about its effectiveness unless this was 10 years ago.

Voted for #2; even though it's probably the least combat-efficient bot here, it's the most unique and has the best splash (the catgirl theme is awesome, I don't care what you think).

Reclaimed Again: IT'S BEAUTIFUL!
Not really in my opinion, but thanks.
Super Hornet: Looks EPIC!
Thanks again.
Aviator H: Looks like an average drum spinner to me.
Yeah, I couldn't really come up with anything better to enter in the HW division, sorry.
Thunder Rage: Good name for a good bot.
Again thanks, but I'm confused as to why you consider mine good but you criticize Redline's for being generic.

I feel the same way, though I consider your LW luckier: Unlike mine, yours is on the side of the bracket without any Hworf blade spinners.

As for my MW, I cloned Phobus and tested it against my MW; SH couldn't beat it.  So I know that my MW won't win its second match (if it even gets one, that is) because I just can't see Phobus losing to Attacker 2.0.
