Wouldn't go that far man. It's bought a fair few new members here and for that I'm so so grateful. You're all welcome here, don't let anything said about reddit put you off.
I've been a member here for eight years and redditbots was the first tournament I ever entered lol. This is the first GTM tournament i've entered. I'm very lazy

And we're done! The 36 bot lineup has been filled in less than 24 hours since signups officially opened.
You guys are amazing!
I now have to go into hibernation a bit to get the AIing and Splashes done, but I'll be back with you all hopefully within a few days.
Thank you all!
Wow that's awesome. I'm happy to be a part of it. Can't wait to see how the whole thing goes!

Entry list updated - 18 successful entries so far! Half the tournament is full! Remember, entries that have been skinned well and have excellent creativity in their design will score extra brownie points from me :)
My skin isn't exactly creative, but it's appropriate :P

Made a literal last minute modification after I actually decided to read the rules regarding skirts... whoops. Anyway, submitted now. Robot isn't great but it's a little different. Looking forward to this whether I get accepted or not :)

Megalodon might be my favourite so far, nice job DemonOfTomorrow. Don't see too many flipper house bots...

Count me in for this.
Never seen this weight limit before in a tournament.
IIRC, Robot Wars Series 8 DSL Edition was Cruiserweight.
I like that we've gone full-boxing with the weight categories now

Yeah, I need to be sent the actual bot file to be able to make any decisions on it
Can we send you .bot files for our competitors just to double check everything is within the rules? Mostly just want to be sure mine's IRL enough

With thanks to Dragonsteincole, the builder of this awesome machine :)

The AI have been programmed not to attack the House Robot unless the other opponent has been defeated. I had no idea this was even possible... When will submissions for competitors be open?

Your problem - When installing DSL, you did not overwrote the Team0 to Team14 folders.
Overwrite them.
That's the thing- I thought I did. And surely if I hadn't done this, then the LWs and MWs would still be stock as well, wouldn't they?

So, I got a new laptop and decided to install RA2. Stock works fine. Then I downloaded DSL, too. Again, fine.... apart from the fact instead of the improved heavyweight AIs (i.e. Second Sentinal, Grog the Vengeful etc.) there is the original stock heavyweights. All the other classes plus the replicas are as they should be, apart fom the "Bot2" class. And whenever I try to fight the stock ones, the game just crashes. So I tried to swap Bot2 and Bot5 in every team, because then I figured at least I'd be able to do the tournaments, but when I checked to see it worked, the Stock bots were still in the Bot2 slot, and now in the Bot5 slot were the improved DSL HW's..... this has completely thrown me. Can anyone give any advice as to what the is going on and how I can sort it??

awesome (i've commented on few of your RA2 videos as tourdeforce17) could you perhaps make a pack of all of them or perhaps just your best ones? that'd be awesome (but where can i find the beetlebros pack so gravity will work? and do i need the Lu-Tze pack if i already have DSL?)
