General Support / crash on new team

That is exactly what I did.  Right now I am seeing if I accidently downloaded the version for the downloaded game.  I folloed the directions exactly two times starting with a clean install of RA2 and then apllying the official patch and then extracting both V1.0 and then V1.2 to a temp folder and copying them to the RA2 folder.

I need help.  I have installed it exactly as the instructions say and yet when I go to the create new team the program closes itself down.  I have installed it twice now and the same thing happened.  What should I do?
