Off-Topic Discussion / Gearheads Unite!!!!
« on: June 01, 2015, 11:48:26 PM »
I remember seeing an off topic post about all the different cars people had way back but alas rather then trying to revive a thread that is dead i'm going to attempt to start a new one. I remember that there were alot more gearheads here then I thought. Lets see what you got  :thumbup. This my 05 STi, built her from the ground up myself. Fully forged bottom end with oversized pistons, 272 cams, and a turbo swap.

Bump.... I tried Landshark tonight for this first time and surprisingly really enjoyed it. I can't really find the words to describe it, but if you find yourself in a store looking for something to drink and you see it on the shelf I recommend it. Nothing quenches a thirst after work like some cold ones.

Recently I have returned to America, and I find myself on this new kick doing these things called beer tours. I dont know how many of you are even of age to drink, but i'm curious. Got any recommendations for me to try? I get tired of the good old american flag covered Budweiser

I had forgotten about some of these names. They say your memory is the first thing to go

I never had the pleasure because im to new here. However she lives on both through this forum, and the things that she contributed. I vote for the tourney at the very least.

Still looking for a stock teammate here. I shot around a couple of PM's but to no avail as of right now. So I shall ask again, anyone?

Now I just have to nail that tune. So far it's been tougher then expected, but I got quite a while.

No offense taken it wasn't really that upsetting just a bit offensive to me. I just misinterpreted what point the photo was trying to convey. I jumped the gun a bit, and the offense came from the generalization of Americans not the products. Either way I'm not one to argue over the Internet, or stay butthurt. I voiced my opinion, wether you agree or disagree is your opinion, and you are entitled to it

Now back on track. The Xbox 1 is dissapointing on all fronts for me, and I see it crashing and burning if nothing gets changed. Which is dissapointing because out of play station and Xbox. Xbox was my favorite now I may just dump them both and play Pc instead.

I find it rather offensive also. I do not believe that you can just label it american just because you photoshop a bag of dorito's into the photo. I still serve man, and when I see stuff like this I struggle to control my temper. I do not appreciate your disrespect just because you believe you can classify american's into a general category just because of what you've heard about us. I've sacrificed way to much, and I will not have my country disrespected in such a way. I've lost to many, and I don't care how much incoming fire I take for this it is absolutely worth it. Do what you will.

Existing Games / Re: Atari/Infograms selling all game assets

The major problem I see is that even if the game is sold on it's own the price tag may be too large for any of us to afford. More then likely though Atari will bundle it, and sell it to someone who will never know what they have.

I really do hope that it gets picked up by a company that might make good use of it. It would be great to see a revival especially by someone other then Atari. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath. On another note for 15 million we can buy the actual rights to Atari itself. Just a thought, then we can burn it to the ground for not just giving us the rights to a game no one else has cared about for a long time.

I do believe. Looks epic. Would definetly drive a car like that.
When I first drove it I never believed I would actually buy it, but here I am. Thanks though, it really is a good looking car. As much as I like it though I cant wait to go pick my Subaru Impreza STI.

Now you forgot the into. :P

Wow i am stupid sometimes
Wait is there a game that I missed here. The one I am referring to allowed you to use your computer to edit the paint of any car that you wanted. The customization was literally endless you could make the car look however you wanted.

Oh yeah... I was thinking of a different year's release. They're all the same anyway. But yeah, I remember reading something about being able to transfer paint schemes from your PC.

But get NASCAR Racing 2003 Season for PC. They make a new Cup Series mod every year so it's always up to date. and there's tons of other mods like rally racing and dirt track. It will cost a bit if you don't just torrent it.

How Much
After a quick look on ebay, anywhere from 70 to 90 US dollars.

This is in fact false you got one right here. I am originally from the midwest (Iowa, and Wisconsin) to be specific. Been living out here in Cali for over 2 years now.
Yeah, you're the army guy right?
Marines, I like it out here though, except for the traffic. I don't much care for the traffic.
