Discussion / How do I build horizontal spinning disks and flippers

Ok, I am very new to this game and have the latest version of DSL mod installed.
However I can't figure out how to build horizontal spinners or flippers.
All the motors I can find will only let me attatch a vertical disk to them, unless I am missing something obvious.
Can somebody please give me some help.
