Saving a whole web page with pictures...
« on: May 18, 2010, 04:47:56 AM »
Hello there.

I saved the Beetlebros modding tutorial on my comp (aka http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/modding.htm as you probably all know), but i didn't get the pics (broken link)

How do i save the whole thing with pics on my computer ? Do i make a folder with the save web page and all the pics in the same folder (like web pages are normally saved) or there's a program available on the internets to save whole pages or what ?

For me when I saved that page just normally with FireFox, I got a html file and a folder containing the pictures, however when I opened the html file the pictures were broken, so you are going to have to change the url of the pictures by editing the html file.

By changing the lines in the html file, you can open it in any text editor, just take a look how they are messed up and change them to either local urls, as in path on your computer only or to the ones that are used on the site itself.
