I just got an ipod recently and i need to put some music on it. I was going to get some from my friend but hes a procrastinating bastard so i need to do it myself. I intend to get it

because im not paying $1 for a song so where do you guys get it from?

currently using torrent but idk if theres a better way.

Scrap, heres my absolute favorite way to get music. It's free, and it's probably legal.

Use the program from the first link to log in and download your entire playlist to your computer.

EDIT: you don't NEED to make a playlist, you can just search for individual songs using the first program and download them to your hearts contect. A song takes make 5 seconds to download each. Much better than torrent.

I use torrents, they're easier for me, I have to say though, mediafire isn't bad, especially if you need a quickie (cha-ching) song

Ah indeed. Not to mention all the majority of spam and pop-ups that make it past the pop-up blocker unnoticed. Then again, it could just be me.

You can find most music on Youtube, as a music video, or just the music with lyrics overlaid. I use Zamzar to convert said videos into mp3's.

I buy CD's from this store called Hastings, and the other place I go to get music is The Pirate Bay.

Agreed. That way you can still re-rip the CD if your computer were to crash, causing you to lose all your music.
