Browser help?

I cant search or load new tabs or anything on any browsers, Mozilla,Google Chrome, you name it, it isnt gonna work.
I can only follow links on pages.
If i try something like going on my history page it will take ages and wont actually load.

How long ago did you last shut down your computer?
When was the last time you checked for viruses?
How many programs do you have running?

Check for viruses and see what you find. There are some viruses that destroy browser performance
