just renewed my library card and picked up some cds while i was there. heres what i got
converge - all we love we leave behind
converge - axe to fall
vampire weekend - modern vampires of the city
vampire weekend - contra
vampire weekend - s/t
alabama shakes - boys & girls
brian wilson - smile
jack johnson - in between dreams
beach house - teen dream
the postal service - give up
im familiar with most of these, haven't heard anything from converge more recent than 'you fail me' though... and i wasn't super impressed with it (jane doe was a hard act to follow, though). always liked vampire weekend but never had a full album of theirs. checking out beach house because of a song i'd heard on cable radio that i really enjoyed a while back, no other introduction to them. the postal service because i've heard good things but never checked them out. everything else i'm trying on the strength of a couple of songs i've heard and because i couldn't find anything more interesting
what about yall eh??

This just arrived today after I pre-ordered it a few months ago. Boards of Canada's remix of Nevermen's Mr Mistake. Side A is the version with lyrics and side B is the instrumental version. Got some pretty nutty art on the picture disc. Part of a limited run too and it was only £7

Side B: (https://gametechmods.com/uploads/images/34734Nevermen Side B.jpg)
Also for some reason the GTM uploader decides to show these sideways despite them being the right way up on my end. Guessing it's because I took it on my phone.

It likely is because you took it on your phone... Phones are notorious for doing that.
My latest acquisitions are:
- Tim's Bio - Timbaland
- Supavision - Supafriendz

Guys can we please not (excuse my french) turn this into a sh**posting thread? This thread is a cool idea, and it would be sad if a mod locked it for us general members sh**posting.

Thanks for doing your jobs. TBH if it weren't for you guys GTM would descend into complete anarchy. Anyway back on topic, I forgot to put these two little acquisitions on my previous list.
- Creed Chameleon - Siq Of Lazy
Creed Chameleon is a Hawaiian Hip-Hop artist, I would rate the album a 4/5. The album has some rather hit or miss production but a good flow, and lyrics. For me the two standout tracks would be Hell which has this pulsing electronic beat, and wonderfully distorted vocal samples, and Asian Blade which features Japanese MC Meiso Parlous, and has a sort of minimalistic beat, and bilingual lyrics. - Squeezer - Streetlife
Squeezer was a German Bubblegum Dance (Itself a form of Eurodance) group that had some slight doo-wop flavor to their songs. However Streetlife is a bad album because instead of sticking to what they knew, Jim Reeves (R.I.P.), and co decided instead to fill the album with ballads,
and slow songs instead of the lightweight, fluffy, dance-pop they were known for. The album has no redeeming qualities, and the ballads are all horrible. 1/5.

I've recently discovered this band called Bear Ghost (https://bearghost.bandcamp.com/) which i've become a pretty big fan of. their stuff just hits the right notes with me.
Personal favorites have to be "The Steven Bradley" and "Necromancin' Dancin'", but both of their albums are pretty awesome in general.
