Well, that's good... But I've still never actually heard of Rover.

My point is that just because we haven't heard of a car company from a country in which we do not live doesn't mean we are stupid or anything.
Well, with all the car games and such, we get force-fed the car companies that exist in america, and meanwhile you lot have no interest in British car companies.

I've never heard of Rover, either and I am a car guy. Have you ever heard of AMC? Probably not...

I have. I love the AMC Matador. It looks insane.

I prefer the Javelin.

I never implied that.

Sorry, that was aimed at IRW.

That's because Britain doesn't know how to make video games any more.

Doesn't matter. The games are made by Japan.

You do present a good point, but I, myself, do have interest in any vehicle, regardless of it's country of origin.

Although, it is my opinion that a good percentage of British cars are "wimpy". Not meaning to offend anyone, and my opinion can be swayed.

Most of the old ones are (Morris, Austin, etc). There are only a handful of British car manufacturers alive today, and even then they're owned by some Indian guy.

Well, here's a page with all of them in. Feel free to make your own decision and opinion of British car companies once you've seen them.

I like Lotus. And Aston Martin. And Bentley. McLaren is a bit too fast IMO, however.

Rover is the name of a car company that gave us the best sounding V8 engine in the world.

If you were talking about this, it's actually a Buick engine.

Kind-of the point, but you're right. Maybe sometimes a bit OTT.

The speed limit Mr. Officer.

I've never pushed my van past 80 but I think the speed limited cuts in around 110.

Also the Ford Raptor sounds way more badass than the rover.

Hennessey VelociRaptor is even better.

And I've never pushed the truck up but probably limited above 100. Read online that people can do 100+ easy and found a website that said 160 hp

Typical Americans, no disrespect, but you always have to do something bigger and better and burn about 100000 gallons of petrol doing it.... I (and IRW) are perfectly content with our 3.5 litre V8's, they're all we need.

Rover is the name of a car company that gave us the best sounding V8 engine in the world.

If you were talking about this, it's actually a Buick engine.

Yes Noodle, you're right. As far as I know Buick developed it and then didn't like it so threw it into the trash can. Then a guy called Bruce McWilliams (head of Rover in the USA) bought the rights from GM to use it in their Rovers.
