It would cost more to repair than it would be worth. Especially since I initialy gave $1500 for it and then almost immediately had to spend $1300 to have the motor rebuilt.

Hm...It would be cheaper to install a motor in the back, and cut the entire front half off.

It used to be a 1996 GMC Sonoma. Now it's just a pile of scrap metal.

If anyone needs a Newly rebuilt 4.3 L V6 with under 5000 miles on it, let me know...

Gotta admit, noodle. You didn't really like your Camry (so I've heard), and andy loved his Pumpkin

Yeah I pretty much hated that thing. Still, I do kinda miss it. Flooring my Moldsmobile is so boring compared to the Camry because the thing is too damn smooth. When I floored my Camry it slammed my head into the seat and made the most ungodly sound (the thing had a massive exhaust leak). Even though it never really went all that fast, it was great fun because the thing sounded like it was going to explode.

Also, getting in a major accident just sucks.

I was driving to pick someone up from work during the winter and was stopped on the main county road to turn left because there was a car coming the other way and some lady hopped up on pills just slammed full speed into the back of my brothers ford focus totalling it. I actually went into the other lane I was hit so hard and my seat was reclined once I finally stopped.

Hehe, what sort of Oldsmanmobile is it? But isn't smooth a GOOD thing (in most cases)?

Would be, if smooth in this case didn't equal mushy and bad handling. I took a 90 degree turn today at 30 mph, the thing barely made it around without coming off the road. Not only that, but the suspension clanged and and made some rather scary sounds. Not doing that again.

Well, sounds like you could remove some of the suspension blocks, because otherwise it will continue to act like it's on stilts.

I hate it when pedestrians decide to run out into traffic... almost splattered a lady yesterday because she did as such. At least my brakes are good.

My dad had a racing spec Rover SD1 3500. Therefore, the bodywork almost whips off the car when you slam the brakes. It also had no ground clearance and a complicated exhaust system that took the manifold from 8 pipes to just 1.

Street raced a couple weeks ago in the rain at 1AM. Some fat dude in a 90's V8 GMC truck tried to pass me in the right lane before the two lanes merged, and I wasn't having any of it. I was driving a carload of five people (Around 1000 pounds give or take) in my 4Cyl Nissan Altima:

One fat guy can very easily weight as much as the five people in your car, especially if he's american. :>
