Post by: Reier on August 11, 2009, 06:16:50 PM
Anyone know about a free unlimited one? The one I have says it's going to expire soon and I need it.

Help?

Reier. What kind of convertor?  You mean convert video formats?  From what to what?

Well, it'd be nice if it can import/export .wmv, mpg, mp4, mov, (flv?), and avi. I'm currently using Prism Converter, and I'm kinda ticked off that it says it wouldn't expire.

Im not sure about a converter, but im sure you can use a program like Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas to save it in different format.

I know about WMM, but it can't import a lot of the files in the first place.

Pardon my extreme lack of knowledge, but what is torrent anyway? Isn't it pirating?

Yes, it is. Just google for uTorrent if you want to give it a try. And then use a page like Isohunt.com to find what you want.

It's technically illegal, you should know. Not like this matters.

I use Any Video Converter it can do these formats .....

to be honest I dont actually know how I got the full version but basically I downloaded the latest version trial and then once it expired I downloaded an earlier version and installed it over the later one or something like that

but I know I installed it more then 2 times to try and get maximum trial uses from the different versions (so technically legal) only now I dont get prompted for trial end ??? so I basically have a full version it asks me to update all the time but I dont dare to since I didnt input have a serial

I would pass a copy on to you but I cant upload it anywhere as I fear it might then become a legality issue

Bit of a bump, but I used to use CinemaForge, which worked really well. Totally free and all.
