Title: VGA Save
Post by: That Robot is a Spy! on October 30, 2011, 09:18:31 AM
Ages ago, my computer couldn't run Quake, but it could run RA2 easily.
I stupidly tried to upgrade my card by updating it, but it failed miserably, and now it can't run RA2.
My laptop can only just run RA2.
But because my computer is now in my room, I cannot use my laptop much now. And my graphics card simply says I'm using a VGA Save, despite the fact I have another graphics card in there.
I tried Last Known Good Config and everything. How do I get the computer back the way it was?

hmm have you actually installed the drivers for your current graphics card physically installed?

I'm not 100% sure what my physically installed one is because it doesn't display. But I think it's an Avida 7200. I could open up the computer to check, but knowing me, I'd do it wrong.

I reattempted this and I fixed it! I'm so happy. I just reinstalled and searched for the files with the Search Dog. I'm so happy!
