Or, you could actually help him out.

Download uTorrent. Set it up so you download to either your desktop or a folder on your desktop. When you download a torrent you download a super smile file that's basically an address for the torrent to connect to. uTorrent will connect that and download it, starting off super slow and then gaining speed as it connects to more trackers/seeders/whatever it does.

Hope that helps.

im terribly sorry to hear you flushed your sense of humor down the toilet.

I would make sure you have a good strong virus defense on your computer becasue there is a lot of bad things in the world of torrents, also knowing how the seed and leach system works will also help, after you completed your download (or leaching) you will start seeding (or uploading the file) for others to obtain greater speeds though you can cancel this process.

also I would generally stay away from Pirate Bay, been hearing a lot of reports about copyright infringments and that ISPs canceling services by tracking web history, etc (so pirate bay = bad)

Torrents are better than limewire. (And uTorrent as well)

And you just have to read comments under the torrent's description to see if there's a virus.

As a GTM staff member, as well as a content creator, I must remind you to only use torrents as a means of getting legal content.  Any illegal torrents posted here on the GTM forums will(should?) get deleted.

Thank you.

ok. posted. see y'all in a few months.

The way people catch you is if you are seeding (uploading) the torrent. People could care less about download, but the internet companies monitor upload speeds and amounts and if you are uploading irregular amounts they send you a warning. So... just stop the torrents from seeding during & after the download...
