Primer
Good movie but I had to watch it like three times for it to even start to make sense.

My list:
1. The last movie I watched
2. The second last movie I watched
3. The third last movie I watched
Etc.

Yeah I just like whatever movie I most recently saw, unless it was really bad. :P

That's one problem I have with people's favorite movies, is that they will put the last movie they saw in their "top 10", when it is very clear that they have no type of list organized whatsoever and just throw the most recent movie in there to join in on the hype.

First time I watched that film... my jaw dropped at the end and my brain was pretty well fried for the entire following day.  (and I loved it)

That one really deserves to be on my top ten as well because I adore that flick.  But I have only watched it twice and I base my top ten list off of films that I can't get enough of.

4. Serenity
5. Manos: The Hands of Fate*

I've only seen DD once but it beat out several films I watch often, same with One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (although the latter is definitely a film you can only watch once).
I'm planning on acquiring some other classic movies. A Place In The Sun is one of the more likely candidates, maybe along with Do The Right Thing.

Also, Dogma is a quote goldmine.

The 2007 one.

I liked it because the first part of the film went like the standard mindless cookie-cutter fantasy action plot (hero appears/kill monster/get kingdom, not that it has been repeated over nine thousand times in literary history), then after the timeskip it goes into a completely different direction altogether,

Nowhere near as good as Kurosawa's stuff, of course, but still pretty nice for what first looked like a standard action film.

Making this was hard, I've seen way too many movies to remember them. The Butterfly Effect I couldn't seem to fit in there but I also really enjoyed that movie.

No particular order...

Office Space
Super Troopers
Little Nicky
Blazing Saddles
Road House
Death Race
Baseketball (Would love to find this on DVD)
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (Has good mix of action, fictional stories with chunks of historical accuracy thrown in. Bears very few similarities to the book, though.)
Courageous (Has great action scenes for a Christian themed film.)
Days of Thunder (Not sure why.)

The Princess Bride gets honorable mention because I feel it deserves to be listed, but I can't decide on a movie to remove from the list.

-Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
-Alien
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail
-Quadrophenia
-Finding Nemo
-Saw
-Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
-Alien Vs Predator
-Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory
-Prometheus

Right now, anyhow.

Interesting to see personal development, so here's my updated list. I think. I'll try to only list 1 film from a franchise otherwise there'd probably be like 4 different franchises and that's it.

1) Saw
2) Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
3) Silent Hill
4) Alien (Yes I'm in the camp that much prefers this to Aliens)
5) Battle Royale
6) My Neighbour Totoro
7) Cabin in the Woods
8) Evil Dead (the first one or the 2013 one.)
9) Up
10) Thor: The Dark World

Honorable mentions: Half the Saw franchise, Quadrophenia, Donnie Darko, Drag Me To Hell, V for Vendetta.

I agree very much with some of craigs choises I love Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Watched it 19 times already (should watch it when I`m over some day :P) and Cabin in the Woods is such a damn good kinda serious kinda parodic horror movie but very well done. silent hill is ok but nothing tops the games. and pyramid head didn`t make sense in the movie. he was fanservice but not of a good kind. I used to like the saw movies more but they`ve gone over the top with like 8 or 9 movies (?). Up actually made me cry at the end but somehow because I was so happy after watching it. Battle royal was cool. didn`t see hunger games.. don`t want to see it.

In no real order...

-Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
-Alien
-Monty Python and the Holy Grail
-Quadrophenia
-Finding Nemo
-Saw
-Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
-Alien Vs Predator
-Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory
-Prometheus

Right now, anyhow.

Interesting to see personal development, so here's my updated list. I think. I'll try to only list 1 film from a franchise otherwise there'd probably be like 4 different franchises and that's it.

1) Saw
2) Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
3) Silent Hill
4) Alien (Yes I'm in the camp that much prefers this to Aliens)
5) Battle Royale
6) My Neighbour Totoro
7) Cabin in the Woods
8) Evil Dead (the first one or the 2013 one.)
9) Up
10) Thor: The Dark World

Honorable mentions: Half the Saw franchise, Quadrophenia, Donnie Darko, Drag Me To Hell, V for Vendetta.

Just thought I'd try redoing this.

1) Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
2) Guardians of the Galaxy
3) Saw
4) Alien
5) Silent Hill
6) The Lego Movie
7) Zombieland
8) The Cabin in the Woods
9) Evil Dead (Either new or old again I guess)
10) Thor: The Dark World

I guess this is how I feel right now. I guess.
