Theres a heck of a lot of CAD programs; from 2D to 3D.  Some of the most famous ones are AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Inventor. Your profile pic kinda looks like the AutoCAD interface.

in the skewl, i usually make things like tools, sockets, etc. for assignments, but i usually finish before the deadline so one time i drew a simple version of WIDE LOAD with my remaining class time:

I also made some weapons like swords and maces but there all in my skewl compuder.
You can see a ton of other designs here: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=97.0

Also, here's a free 3 year trial for Inventor: http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/inventor-professional

And here's another thing; a bit of a tutorial to get u started: http://www.sdcpublications.com/pdfsample/978-1-58503-799-5-2.pdf
