How has GTM degraded into this? Out of the 3 pages of new posts I saw when I got home, only 3-4 of the threads were readable and not either utter spam or stuff I didn't want to read.

If anyone wants to let me know when GTM is free of ponies, trolls and spam, I'll be at both the Cave Story Tribute forums and the Drowning City forums.

My best female friend offered me 2 expansion packs for World of Warcraft for Christmas.

She failed to recognize they were expansions and I couldn't play them without the original. Worse yet she has some good idea of what type of games I'm into and fantasy games are certainly on the bottom of the list.
Worst even, she's offering the same gift to her brother (my best friend) and I know he isn't much into them and cant play either. It was sad but hilarious in a darkish kind of way, lol

My brother has recently got engaged, which is great but there is one thing that worries me. My sister-in-law to be is talking to her family about how it'll be an Elvis themed wedding... I hope to God that is a joke but I don't think it is, considering her late father loved Elvis so much she may do it as a tribute to him. If it is an Elvis themed wedding, my side of the family will really stand out as 'posh' in comparison.

Elvis is one of those musicians that I feel are overrated in this day and age. The Beatles are another one. I acknowledge that they were both big parts of rock history, but the way people still jizz themselves over them is just strange.
