I'm actually hoping Rangers get kicked out of the SPL. If they were allowed straight back in, it would set a hideous precedent for other clubs. They'd basically be saying "Okay, you can <expletive> all your money away with no consequence". At least if they were sent down to Division 3 or whatever, it might spur other football clubs to actually be sensible with money for a change.

From what I know, Rangers and Celtic are the only teams who have a chance of winning the SPL.
As such they cannot kick Rangers out, because then the football there would become even worse somehow.
