just that reason makes me not want to play it.

I'm level 30 in Skyrim, haven't even done the second mission. I was 22 before I did the first because I spent most of my time stealing all the things in Whiterun. So much so that I ended up with 59 Sneak, 51 One-Handed (pay trainer, steal gold back, pay trainer, repeat, generally being able to level up when it capped out at the 5 per level), and 100 Pickpocket (too easy. Save, Pickpocket, Succeed, repeat. Or Save, Pickpocket, Fail, Reload, Retry).

Uncharted is a fairly adequate game at most, Killzone is terrible, and the other two are on Xbox anyway.

Uncharted is pretty good for single player. Multiplayer is meh but when you have any number of god-forsaken CoD style FPS on either system, why would you play it? Same with Crysis 2.

Also, there's nothing wrong with Killzone. It's a solid shooter with some decent singleplayer and good multiplayer.

Ah, that reminds me. How good is the multiplayer compared to 'Charted 2? I only played that once as it was pretty bad (in my view).

I find the shooting games to be more fun when I am playing them co-op with my dad, unless they have particularly good mechanics (kind of like Bulletstorm and its skillshots, and a few others).

I do like strategy, but I also like games that say 'well, you could do this, or you could just mess around and do random crap'. I also enjoy games with interesting mechanics, and good story (although the story doesn't always take away the crappiness of certain games, nor can the mechanics, occasionally).

Nothing is odd in an Elder Scrolls game, you play it how you want to play. That's the whole point of Roleplaying. You are roleplaying somebody who gives mead to those who ask, I am RPing a career thief that can use spells and spends most of his time ****ing around, using the voice, promising the guard he won't do it again, and then doing it straight after. Although he doesn't kill normal people unless directly ordered to, and kills most enemies by slitting their throat.

but i'll always take western rpg's over jap rpg's..

I'm not exactly enamored with Skyrim, it just isn't my sort of game; I like heavy atmosphere, so games like Shadow of the Colossus and Metroid Prime are quite fun. I also prefer games with a little more action if they are not entirely atmosphere focused.
