I was talking about the old one.

The act of posting is still RPing, therefore the whole thing is an RP, a story is the end result if the whole thing finishes...or a scenario if it is only part of a story. But each to their own, I suppose, even though I may class what you call it as wrong, it does not mean I am technically right about it... I don't think.

A story is written or invented by one author. A roleplay is written by many authors.

That's not technically true at all. Stories can be written by several people; RPs have to be done with certain people always playing certain roles.

I could RP with myself, based on the moods I was in. It would be immensely dull but it would still be legitimate so long as one mood played a certain role and so on.
But yeah. Overall your point stands. While I personally think that ST should be a STORY, it is currently an RP.

That's because it's extremely heavily overdone at this point; no offense, but it stagnated ages ago.
