madman, what do you have against a7x?

Don't like the new emo image they've taken, don't like the cheesy choruses, don't like the riffs as they are too similar to Metallica's for me. That simple.

Don't mind the casual fans but the people who go giving them "OMG 5/5 BEST ALBUM EVER" get annoying. So I've got more against the fanboys than the band.

Maybe, but a7x has a better drummer and singer than metallica, making the cool guitar riffs sounds more balanced and better.

Maybe, but a7x has a better drummer and singer than metallica, making the cool guitar riffs sounds more balanced and better.

I personally prefer james, but I agree that Portnoy destroys Lars.
But I disagree, I don't like the riffs they use. Too cheesy when they're not using the same riffs as Metallica, and when they are, they don't sound as tight; I found the Seymour Duncan Invaders used in the guitars to be far too muddy.

not necessarily trolled, but in awe at how this wouldn't happen. For one thing, the BFG 9000 pwns every other gun in existence, everyone and there mother knows that. Oh well, i guess it was the more appropriate choice because of all the 14 year old kids that like halo and probably think doom's queer because of its graphics.

From what I can tell Doom is just a load of fun just for the sake of having fun. 'We have just designed this gun, what should we call it?'
'How about 'Big ****ing Gun?'
'There's something missing...'
'How about 'Big ****ing Gun-9000'
'Genius' (yes, I'm sure there was more thought into it than that).

But yeah, I definitely think that Doom is better than Halo (I remember playing Doom on the PS1, and have recently played it on my dad's Amiga (joystick for movement and shooting, only having to use space for the doors). Besides, even with all the damage Doom Guy had taken (from the splatter, it was a single sniper shot to the hip), a single grenade wouldn't've killed him. But hey-ho.

Counter Strike does require more skill, that is because the lack of respawning requires you to actually work with one-another, and not just run into battle aimlessly going 'Hurr, Durr, I'm awesome' like the general occurrence on CoD and Halo. I believe Team Fortress 2 appears to be exempt from this due it also just being a load of random fun.

So yeah, my conclusion, Doom=awesome lulzy ****around, Counter Strike=rather realistic game that requires a lot of skill and/or teamwork, CoD=fish A 'realistic' shooter where people either stay in one spot and listen to the others rage, snipe, or run around suicidally, Halo=CoD in space (better than CoD in my opinion though, due to there actually being a proper explanation for regenerating health(

), TF2=online multiplayer lulzy ****around.
