Well my speakers are working (sound from MSN) but no sound is coming from youtube. D:

1) Check the YouTube videos are not muted.
2) Right-click your Volume, and select "Open Volume Mixer" or the equivelant, then try setting the Internet Explorer volume further up.

Besides, the gas fields will soon dry out, as will the revenue that goes with it. Hence why I'm studying Renewable Energy, such as wave and tidal power, of which Scotland has a lot of.

Correct. Hydro-renewable (I think it's called that) energy is a wonderful thing if you wear a kilt :L

And we can then sell it to the English at a ludicrously inflated price. :gawe: You know, once all their oil imports dwindle.

We're doing that ATM, and hydro power has to be one of the best alternatives IMO.

The only reason Nuclear Power sprang up in the 1980's was because Margaret Thatcher wanted to find some way to spite the coal miners who were on strike at the time. It might be cheap, but the waste is pretty horrendous, and we've no idea what to do with it.

Hydroelectric power, however, is a genuinely renewable and infinite source of power, plus if there's ever a surge in demand, hydroelectric generators can be switched on instantly, instead of waiting a few minutes for the coal or oil powered furnaces to heat up.

Plus the risk of a Chernyobl like accident, which would be even more devestating here in the UK.

Definitely. If we had to evacuate a bunch of major cities, where would they go?

Like the one in Llanberis? The Dinorwig Power Station.
