Why do you care about what I like so much?

Because there is no upside to war. None at all. It's a tragic waste of resources, manpower and human life, so I can't for the life of me understand why people feel the need to glorify it with video games like that.

I don't see Natef technically speaking ill of that dead friend of Scourge's. He however, did not showed compassion about it. That is very different from speaking ill of the dead.

Therefore, GF and Smashy are just thinking they are in the right to "show some respect" to Scourge's dead friend, probably just because he is dead. Despite the fact that they did not knew him, did not heard of his achievements (unless Scourge has talked more about him by PM), or did not knew if he was an interesting guy.

Show some respect to an unknown guy just because he is dead ? I fail to see the point of it. Besides, by following that rule you would have to show respect to all the billions of people dead before him that he didn't knew. That's gonna be difficult, cause I'm sure some of these unknown guys GF and Smashy would not like, despite being supposed to show some respect because they're dead.

Respect is earned. I therefore can only respect a man for his achievements in history or/and personal qualities, and not some random guy who get hit by a car.

Actually getting hit by a car and dying of it -I can only think of it showing two personal "qualities": the dead guy's carelessness or lack or perception. How could I therefore respect him ?

Also, in my opinion Natef tends to be rather stoic and sometimes unfeeling. Therefore, there is no surprise in his reaction. Why do you guys blame him ?

Real Time Shooters? No. I don't like games where the objective is to shoot or otherwise kill other players.
 
I'm not telling you how to live your life, Natef, I'm just expressing my feelings towards a genre of gaming that I can't see any fun in.

Real Time Strategy is alright for me. I think it's because it doesn't actually impose the player into the position of the gunman. Or perhaps I have some kind of God Complex.
