XP = Best OS (IMO)

Vista is terrible, took 3 attempts to connect to a wireless network last night, the screen just froze every time.

7 is worse than Vista and 8 is set to be even worse

How is 7 bad?

Lack of compatibility with most of my favourite programs, over-complicated interface, backwards way of working, tacky taskbar, prone to crashing and took three attempts to uninstall on my laptop to make way for QNX Neutrino

But Apple is overrated, especially since anything they release is crap anyway.
I would like to see the proof behind that theory

You obviously haven't used Vista for any length of time. It's basically Windows 7 Alpha, thus is pretty much broken.

The only Vista I have touched is Ultimate. Its interface is nice-ish, but I am never ever going near that computer ever again. Period.

I'm finding 7 to be very easy to use, and am having very few programs, and have had no problems with incompatibility.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

I suppose that the bulk of it could just be what people are used to. I had to take a bit of time to adapt to 7, but I am actually finding it to be a bit better than XP. But that's just me.

Vista was pretty good. 7 is great. I like both Vista and 7 better then XP.

I think it's that I load a ton of crap onto each new computer I get, and I will never touch it and I don't even know what half of it is, but I move it anyways. Vista was fine, until I did that.

Apparently Vista hogs RAM, but surely 3GB is enough for it?

I tried a Macbook Pro a while ago, it was the newest model, and it was the most frustrating thing ever. First off I couldn't click anything, because instead of touching the touchpad to left click like any normal PC, you actually had to push it down until it clicked. Then I went on Safari, which was painfully low despite the decent internet, and when I downloaded a program for the owner's kid, I couldn't find it for the life of me, and neither could anyone else.

Basically, I hate macs. ^_^

XP was the best OS for me, not flashy, purely functional. And so it functioned well.

Thank you, TRB

Oh really? How are you so busy that you do not have two minutes to sit down and explain a simple detail?
