Too much image and some not-so-great music. Better than some, but I find it decidedly average.

This is true, but at least they aren't crappy. Average is better than crappy.

I like them because their music is the hardest rock I have found that isn't screamo or just some idiot killing a poor guitar.

Try Thunderstone, they're pretty cool. They are also Finnish, like Lordi
